Ethan Tian (10G1)
We are delighted to extend our warmest congratulations to Ethan on an extraordinary achievement. Over the past few weeks, Ethan participated in two WAGR events in May:
May 14-15: WAGR event in Zhuhai-1st place
May 29: WAGR event in Chengdu -1st place
Through tremendous effort and resilience, Ethan has earned recognition from the AJGA, qualifying for both the Junior Presidents Cup and the International Team. He is the first junior player from Hong Kong to make the International Team of the Junior Presidents Cup — a historic milestone. The event will be held in late September in Chicago, USA. Please join us in celebrating Ethan’s success
Junior Warriors Swim Team
On May 22, 2026, ICS proudly sent 9 swimmers from the Junior Warriors Swim Team to compete in the HKSSF Shatin District Swim Competition which took place in Ma On Shan. All swimmers represented ICS very well, many achieving personal best times in their individual events. Sienna Lecornu earned a silver medal in the 100 meter Breaststroke (girls B) as well as a bronze medal in the 50 meter Freestyle (girls B) events. She will go on to represent ICS and Shatin District in the upcoming 10th Annual Hong Kong Primary School Inter-district Swimming Competition on June 12, 2026, a first for the Junior Warriors Swim Team! Sienna will be competing in the 100 meter Breaststroke (girls B) individual event, and has been invited to join the Shatin 50 meter freestyle (girls B) relay event. Huge kudos to Mr. Lau and Ms. Lombard for their on-going efforts in building and developing the entire Junior Warriors Swim Team! GO WARRIORS!
Grade 3 Chess Team
We are delighted to share that our Grade 3 chess team has achieved outstanding results at the Hong Kong TCA Scholastic Championship 2026, organized by The Chess Academy of ActiveKids and held on June 7, 2026.
Our students were awarded 3rd Place in the Lower Primary School Team category. The team members are: Paul Chiu (3C), Jay Lam (3B), Thaddeus Lee (3C), Bryant Ma (3A)
In addition, Thaddeus Lee (3C) was awarded 3rd Place for Board 3, an excellent individual accomplishment. We warmly congratulate our students on their dedication, teamwork, and impressive performance. Their achievement is a proud moment for our school community.
