Dear High School Community,
In order to reduce emails, please note the two announcements below about Photo Day, and Grade 12 University Advising Night (Zoom). Both events are on Tuesday August 25th.
Before I get to that, please be reminded that the sign up for the Grade 9 Oxygen event is due by Monday. You child will have received all the necessary information from Mr. Shannon White.
High School Photo Day - and Sibling Photo Guidance
On Tuesday, August 25, we will hold our annual High School Photo Day. School photographs provide an opportunity to celebrate each student and capture a moment in the life of our community. We look forward to a smooth and enjoyable day.
Individual photographs take place until 1:05 pm, and whole Tribe photographs will take place after that time:
Students should listen carefully to announcements, arrive promptly for their assigned sessions, and help us keep the day running on schedule.
Sibling photographs will be offered from 3:10–4:10 p.m. in the Secondary Library on the third floor of the Secondary Wing. Families should attend the session corresponding to their oldest child’s division:
Oldest sibling in Grades 9–12: Tuesday, August 25
Oldest sibling in Grades 6–8: Wednesday, August 26
Oldest sibling in Elementary: Please follow instructions from the Elementary Office
Sibling groups will be photographed on a first-come, first-served basis, so families should anticipate a possible short wait. Students may wear either school uniform or free/alternative dress for sibling photographs.
Order forms were distributed on Induction Day, August 7, with a limited number of additional forms available from the school office. Please give completed forms and payment directly to the Techni Photo staff on Photo Day.
Parents coming to campus must present their HKID card at the car park security office to register and receive a visitor’s tag before proceeding to the library.
Thank you for helping us make Photo Day a memorable celebration of our students and school community!

PSAT at ICS on October 12, 2026
The PSAT/NMSQT exams are designed to help students in Grades 9-11 prepare for college entrance exams, familiarize themselves with the SAT digital format, and identify weaknesses in their studies. Exam fees are covered by ICS.
The exam will be held on Monday morning, October 12, 2026, at ICS. There will be no make-up exam.
Whether you plan to attend university near or far, you can stay on track with the SAT. Most colleges—including those that are test optional—still accept SAT test scores. Together with high school grades, the SAT can show your potential to succeed in college or career. And if you're thinking about studying abroad, there are more than 400 universities in 85 countries outside the United States that use the SAT in the admissions process.
Parents, be empowered and equipped with the knowledge and resources you need to support your child's growth and success. This page provides resources, and we hope to help parents navigate the challenges of parenting and support your child's overall well-being.
