Dear High School Community,
We are excited about graduation tomorrow. The seniors this time of year are on various campaigns of memory-making and enjoying their “lasts” of all the things that have filled their lives as ICS students. I would like to thank the parents who have worked so hard on the photo booths, and others who have worked on a new graduation lunch event we are having this year. I know it is a very meaningful time for our seniors, their families, and our faculty as we mark this occasion and send off our graduates into the next seasons of their lives. While graduation is scheduled to start at 10 am, we need everyone seated as close to 9am as possible. Please arrive and be seated on time so as not to disrupt the processional.
Next week is finals week, and students only need to be on campus when they have an exam scheduled or when they have coordinated with a teacher to finish a task. Students also need to complete their end-of-year checkout, including cleaning out their locker, their music locker, their art shelves, and returning all items to the library or elsewhere. Damage assessments will be made to lockers and textbooks as part of this process.
Friday the 12th is the last day of school. In the morning, students can finish their checkout processes if needed, but from 10 am to 11:30 am, we will have our awards ceremony, and all students are expected to be here. Faculty have an end-of-year lunch right after this, so the latest students could be released at 12 noon.
For graduates wishing to pick up their diplomas, they should be available from the secondary office the following week.
It is a busy time in the final weeks of the school year. It is my prayer that everyone finishes well and that we have great summer plans to look forward to. I am thankful for God’s grace as I reflect on 2025-2026, which I hope to comment on more next week.
Blessings,
Kiel Nation, D.Min

Whether you plan to attend university near or far, you can stay on track with the SAT. Most colleges—including those that are test optional—still accept SAT test scores. Together with high school grades, the SAT can show your potential to succeed in college or career. And if you're thinking about studying abroad, there are more than 400 universities in 85 countries outside the United States that use the SAT in the admissions process.
Parents, be empowered and equipped with the knowledge and resources you need to support your child's growth and success. This page provides resources, and we hope to help parents navigate the challenges of parenting and support your child's overall well-being.
