Dear ICS Community,
At ICS, we believe a well-rounded education extends far beyond the classroom. Our co-curricular program is a vital part of school life, fostering teamwork, resilience, and a lifelong passion for learning and activity. Over the next few months, I will be shining a spotlight on the different pillars of this program to celebrate the incredible achievements and opportunities available to our students.
This month, I am excited to highlight our Athletics Program, which has been buzzing with energy and remarkable accomplishments across all grade levels. From the international stages of the ACSC tournaments in high school to the exciting progress of our younger Warriors, there is much to celebrate!
Our high school athletes recently returned from ACSC (Asia Christian Schools Conference) tournaments across Asia, and I could not be prouder of their effort, dedication, and the exemplary sportsmanship they displayed. They truly represented ICS with pride on and off the field, court, and pool.
Here are some of the standout highlights:
Boys Volleyball (at Dalat International School): The team achieved our best result in years, finishing 4th overall! In a spectacular quarter-final match, they came back from being down 2 sets to beat Grace International School 3-2. A special congratulations to Kason Sit for his selection to the All-Tournament Team.
Girls Volleyball (at Grace International School): Our girls had an excellent run, winning 4 of their 7 games in the group stages. After some tough knockout matches, they finished a strong 7th overall. I congratulate Abigail Lam on being named to the All-Tournament Team.
Boys Football (at YISS in Seoul): Our young and competitive squad battled hard. After regrouping from a challenging group stage, they went head-to-head with the eventual finalist in the quarterfinal, unfortunately losing on penalties to finish 8th. Congratulations to Cyrus Lau for his All-Tournament Team selection.
Swimming (at ICS Bangkok): Our Warriors made a huge splash, earning a haul of medals! The team was led by Charlotte McFarland's gold in the 100m backstroke and Anson Hui's silvers in the 800m freestyle and 400m breaststroke. The boys' team brought home the 3rd place overall trophy, with the girls securing a solid 6th place.
I would like to extend a huge thank you to the host schools for their hospitality, to our dedicated coaches for their leadership, and to you, our families, for your steadfast support in cheering on our students from near and far.
The Warrior spirit is thriving at every level! This year, we've also been delighted to see our elementary school swim, basketball, and football teams building their skills and sportsmanship with incredible enthusiasm. It has been a joy to watch them learn, grow, and support one another. The progress they have made so far this year is fantastic, and they are building a strong foundation for the future of ICS Athletics.
Sincerely,
Christina Daniel

Our school’s domestic worker clothing drive is a wonderful way to show support and appreciation for the hardworking domestic workers in our community. The goal is to collect gently used clothes in good condition that can make a real difference in someone’s life. It’s a chance for all of us to come together and give back in a meaningful way.
Please remember, this drive is specifically for clothing, hats, backpacks. so no personal hygiene items or worn-out clothes, please. The collection will take place at the ICS carpark ,so let’s work together to make this effort thoughtful and impactful! Thank you!
