Dear High School Parents & Students,
One thing that is especially important as we start a school year is to make sure that expectations are clearly laid out for our community. Our Secondary School Student Parent Handbook is the best place to ensure that you have an understanding of the structures and processes that will guide our decision-making throughout this year.
The 2025-26 Secondary School Handbook can be found HERE or on the ICS website by clicking on Schools & Programs > High School > Handbook 2025-2026.
Rules are never a fun topic to discuss but they are essential for creating a safe and respectful learning environment for all of our students. In addition to the Secondary School Student Parent Handbook, there are two documents that are linked for you to review, and to submit your responses to.
The first document is the Secondary Student Contract as found on page 47 of the Secondary School Student Parent Handbook. This contract brings all of the concepts and guiding principles of the handbook into 11 main expectations for an ICS Secondary Student.
The second document is the Technology Acceptable Use Agreement which is a specific agreement based on the Technology Acceptable Use Policy found on pages 47-53 of the Secondary School Student Parent Handbook.
These agreements will give us a common understanding of expectations for an ICS Secondary Student. These rules are not intended to be overly restrictive but are leading us towards a common understanding of Christian virtue and character formation for ICS Secondary Students. We believe that having these common expectations can help create a sense of safety and belonging for all students as they progress through their time in High School.
Thank you for your time and effort in completing the following agreements by August 27 (Wednesday) for our records.
