Dear Middle School Parents,

The third quarter is a very busy time for the Middle School, with course signups in progress, MS Camp coming up on February 11–13, and Week Without Walls quickly approaching in March. We are excited for these events and pray the Lord will use this time away from the school building to further our students’ spiritual journeys.

MS Camp: The Way

You should have received an email from me on Tuesday morning. Please read the attached documents and complete the medical release form included in that email by Monday, February 1. Camp is required for all students as part of our educational program at ICS, and all waivers must be completed in advance. Camp is a wonderful opportunity for community building and for the spiritual growth of our students. This year we are pleased to welcome former ICS teacher Ben Bradford as our camp speaker. Our theme is “The Way,” through which students will explore the meaning of John 14:6, where Jesus says, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” It is our sincere prayer that students will take this message to heart and understand that following Jesus is the way!

Week Without Walls Parent Night: Meet the Leaders

On February 3 from 7:15–8:15 PM, parents are invited to attend the WWW Parent Night. You will meet with your child’s trip leaders and hear all the details about the upcoming trips. We encourage all parents to attend this in-person event to better understand each trip’s specifics and review important information and logistics. Please note that, for logistical reasons, we will not provide recordings or a Zoom option for this event. You can register your attendance through the ICS ticketing system on the portal. Once inside the building, signs will direct you to the appropriate room.
