Dear Community Members,
Thank you to the parents and Staff who attended the session organized by the Governance Committee on October 27th. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and learn about opportunities for engagement at the Governance level, leading to the December OGA, during which a Board Member will be voted on. Following October 27th session, we would like to thank the Board Applicants for their interest, as we are confident their expertise will benefit the school in general.
The Strategic Planning Committee cordially invites CAS parents, faculty, and staff members to attend a presentation of the findings from the stakeholder engagement phase of the Strategic Planning Process. This presentation will take place on Thursday, November 10th at 18:30. An invite was shared in this regard with our Parents, Faculty and Staff.
Sincerely,
Omar Laafoura

Dear All,
Thank you to the amazing PTC members for organizing Halloween Night. We broke the record with 1500 Halloweeners. Games, Food, Music spooky ambiance were just amazing. Congratulations to Mamoun Bensouda, the lucky winner of our Costume Contest. Mamoun won his costume partly because he amazingly created and wore exactly what he won! Congratulations go also to Camelia Khamlichi and Maria Bennani for their amazing costumes and for ranking 2nd and 3rd consecutively! Please make sure to visit our Pictures gallery. You might be in one of our pictures.
It’s with such a relief that we would like to inform our community that Amine Medbouh, the U.S Music teacher has undergone a heart surgery successfully. He is still with us in part thanks to our diligent nurse, Ms. Lekfy who rushed Amine to the hospital during his heart attack. We wish Amine a quick recovery.
Morocco celebrated on Sunday, November 6th one of its historical moments: Green March Day. In 1975, HM Hassan II called for a Green March of 350,000 unarmed patriots to show unpreceded support to the recovery of the Moroccan Sahara by the mother land: Morocco. Happy Green March Day!
We would like to share with you David Fischer, the former U.S Ambassador to Morocco stands before a new US State Department map of Morocco recognizing the territory of the Moroccan Sahara as part of the kingdom of Morocco.
November 11th is Veteran’s Day. It coincides with Armistice Day. During the Ceremony, and in the presence of some national and international officials, CAS L.S. and U.S. Students will give speeches and read poems.

My name is Rania Dine. This is my first year at CAS, and I'm a Grade 8 student. Before moving to Casablanca, I lived in Ohio and Virginia.
My teachers are all open-minded and they make sure I understand in class. As for my school mates, they all helped me find my way around and not get lost the first weeks at school. They also make sure I'm not by myself.
CAS academic program is challenging and that suits my ambitions as I would like to attend Brown College after I finish High School.
My message to any new student is to make sure to find their way around and not to judge quickly.
Rania Dine
Dear CAS community,
Halloween was such a treat and it was wonderful to see all of the community coming together to have so much fun. I especially enjoyed trick-or-treating with the Upper School and the Pre-School, who stopped by my office for some Mary Poppins candy. I would like to personally thank our PTC for doing such a wonderful job and remind all of you that you too can volunteer and create an enjoyable experience for our students, parents, teachers and staff. Please consider signing up for the next upcoming event. Your help will be much appreciated by all of us. Through solidarity, respect and positivity we can maintain this beautiful CAS spirit. With this in mind, I invite you to talk to your friends and neighbors about our school and help us continue building our community.
Cordially,
Zaineb Sajid- Admissions Officer
