Dear Community Members
For Corona Virus awareness purposes, we invited Dr Farid Osman a biologist to talk to students (Grade 4-12) and educate them about the measures and mode of prevention that need to be taken for the well being of all.
For grades preschool to third, the school nurse discussed with students the importance of hand washing, proper way of coughing, sneezing, and when students need to stay home when feeling unwell.
Students experimented looking at bacteria under ultraviolet light in dark to show the importance of good hand washing to prevent the spread of germs.
We will continue monitoring this outbreak and communicating with you any updates.
The Lower & Upper School Student Councils and the PTC are teaming up to organize many thoughtful gestures to show their love and gratitude towards their teachers next upcoming week. A week filled in spirit and treats!
Monday: Slouchy Mondays- teachers are expecting to come in their Pyjamas ...and students too!
Tuesday: Students will dress up as their favorite teacher
Thursday: This day marks the 99th days of school. All students (US & LS) and faculty are asked to dress however they want to represent 99... This could mean 99 spots on a t-shirt, 99 stickers, 99 things learned at school... A theme that pushes one's creativity!
Friday: All students and faculty are asked to wear pink or red in spirit of Valentines.
We' d like to thank in advance all parents who will be supplying and donating goodies! A special shout out to Mr El Alami (former CAS parent) for supplying Doughnuts and to Mr & Mrs Mouadib for supplying Pepsi drinks! We won't say more as the rest shall come as a surprise to our teachers!
