Good news to skilled workers and trainers!

The free competency assessment is the heart of the National Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Competency Assessment and Certification (NATCAC) program. This is a synchronized conduct of competency assessment and certification in identified key qualifications. The program is designed to promote the assessment and certification program at the company/enterprise level, upgrade the qualification of existing workers, trainers, and assessors to a higher level of qualification, and expand the clients’ access to this program.

This year’s target beneficiaries include trainers of public and public technical vocational institutions (TVIs), local government units and other government agencies providing TVET programs, private enterprises with registered TVET programs, DepEd trainers, public utility vehicle drivers, workers, industry practitioners, and returning overseas Filipino workers. Successful candidates will be issued their Certificates of Competency (COC) or National Certificates (NC).

Interested applicants may secure application form and the list of requirements for assessment from the assessment centers and/or the nearest TESDA Regional/Provincial Offices. The application form and the self-assessment guide for each identified qualifications may also be downloaded in the TESDA website (www.tesda.gov.ph).
