TESDA IX attends inauguration of UZ’s Laboratory Building

TESDA IX attended the inauguration of Universidad de Zamboanga Laboratory Building last September 17, 2015 at the UZ Laboratories, Tetuan, Zamboanga City.

A mass was celebrated in the morning, followed by the blessing and ribbon cutting and inauguration of the building.

Present for the occasion were UZ Chief Executive Officer Linda Eustaquio-Lim, UZ Chief Operating Officer Abram M. Eustaquio, CHED IX Regional Director Dr. Juanito Demetrio, ICT Director of Field Operations Maria Teresa Camba, DepEd IX Regional Director Dr. Malcolm Garma and TESDA IX Regional Director Lorenzo G. Macapili.

The Regional Directors gave special messages regarding the new facilities and its impact on the education sector in Zamboanga City and the rest of Zamboanga Peninsula. In his speech, RD Macapili mentioned the need to produce “worker-leaders” and to move into improving the level of qualification based on the Philippine Qualifications Framework.
