TESDA IX completes Industry-based Training Program

TESDA IX in coordination with Mega Fishing Corporation (MFC) recently concluded its industry-based training program at MFC’s fishing plant at Cawit, Zamboanga City last April 10, 2015.

The training qualifications included Machining and Slippers and Bag Making and was supervised by TESDA IX Regional Director Lorenzo G. Macapili, Training Coordinator Geronimo Bandico, Mr. Alfredo de Leon and Mr. Margarito del Rosario.

The aim of TESDA’s industry-based training is to accomplish convergence between Industry sector and Government where prospective and contractual workers are trained in technical-vocational skills to enhance the worker’s skills and provide better service for the Industry.
