TESDA IX hosts Joint Consultative Conference

TESDA IX, in partnership with the Department of Education IX, held a Joint Consultative Conference on the implementation of K-12 program and the Level 5 of the Philippine Qualifications Framework at the Skyview, Grand Astoria Hotel and Restaurant, Zamboanga City last November 17, 2015.

As the K to 12 program is nearing implementation, both agencies discussed policy planning, curriculum development, technical education and skills development.

DepEd gave a presentation on the different tech-voc tracks to be implemented by the basic education institutions, while TESDA gave a presentation on the Level 5 of the Philippine Qualifications Framework and Registration of Training Regulations.

It was also an opportunity for the different educational institutions from the education and tech-voc sectors to discuss and plan on how to implement their respective curriculums in line with the K to 12 program.
