Jose Mari S. Apilan, an ITC Instructor and IT NC 4 Assessor of Dipolog School of Fisheries exits DSF last March 25, 2015 for a verdant ventures since he was absorbed by the Department of Education as Information Technology Officer (ITO).

“It was indeed a good opportunity for him, but sad to say, he is leaving DSF and it really saddens us all,” said VSA III Mme. Rosella D. Darcera. “Actually we are not ready for his exit yet, since we need to fix everything and to do the overhauling thing for the upcoming classes this school year but we can’t be the villain for his success, so all we need to do now is to wish him all the best in life,” she added.

Last May 24, 2015, a farewell party was given at Butanas Mountain Resort, for his graceful exit after serving DSF for almost 8 years. A little weepy but lively activity was conducted during the despedida party. The well-wishers like Angelo C. Macario, Aldren S. Mascardo, and Angieza G. Cacho, one of his dears, gave him words of gratitude and encouragement. Some DSF members rendered tributes to the honoree and it was truly a great occurrence.

DSF Family once again showed compassion and support to Jose Mari S. Apilan and wife Arci for a new life ahead.
