Food and Beverage, Cookery students experience “Business Summit”-style simulation

Food and Beverage students and Cookery trainees delved into a new form of “Business Summit” refitting DSF Function Hall into a copy of The Belorio, Grand Hotel Properties last April 6-9, 2015.

Miss Angieza G. Cacho (F&B Instructor) with Mr. Elsen Joseph Belorio (Cookery Instructor) used passages from the haunting fine dining experience of the year, “Form of a Business Summit, Hosted by The Belorio, Grand Hotel Properties”, to impart the student’s involvement for the real scenario of their specialism.

The purpose of this event was to enhance learner’s capabilities and to inspire and motivate them by showing them the perspective of soome successful people. The 4-day affair was coordinated by Dipolog School of Fisheries and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority personnel including Madame Rosella D. Darcera (Voc. Administrator III), Mrs. Dina J. Sarceno, Mrs. Ma. Liza G. Lee (April 6), Mr. Qurino S. Tamayo (Voc. Instructor Supervisor I), Ms. Renelyn N. Real, Mr. Pastor D. Lagados (April 7), Engr. Juliete I. Aleman, Mrs. Merle H. Sy (April 8), Mr. Oscar E. Perey Jr. and Mrs. Grace B. Baraquia (April 9).

The simulation is a perfect opportunity for the three (3) qualifications: Food and Beverage, Cookery and Personality Development to be in one page challenging the students to a whole new level of opportunity.
