TESDA IX, ZamboEcozone hold orientation program for TWSP beneficiaries

TESDA IX, in collaboration with Zamboanga Freeport Authority, held a Training Induction Program (TIP) for beneficiaries of the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) at the ZamboEcozone Conference Hall, San Ramon, Zamboanga City, last July 24, 2015.

Present for the occasion were Christopher Lawrence Arnuco, ZamboEcozone Chairperson and Administrator, Jose J. Suan, ZamboEcozone Director for Labor Sector, Joselito J. Nuevo, ZamboEcozone Senior Labor and Employment Officer and Geronimo Bandico, TESDA IX Regional Training Center Caretaker.

The vouchers for the TWSP consisted of qualifications for Language Skills Institute and Heavy Equipment Operation. The qualifications include 150 vouchers for English Language Proficiency, 150 vouchers for Spanish Language Proficiency and 100 vouchers for Arabic Language Proficiency and 40 vouchers for Wheel Loader.

The training will be conducted by TESDA while ZamboEcozone will provide the training site and the recruitment of beneficiaries and find prospective employment after the training.
