16th Dec 08 Day-4 : Khati to Jhuni - After breakfast of Puris & Rajma, we left Khati at 9:30AM. Initially, we had a steep climb from the trail that starts just by the side of Khati's School heading East. After staedy climb for 2.5 hrs we reached the ridge-top (2925M) and got an amazing view of rolling hills, on both sides of the ridge saddle. Then a long walk of 2 hours, slowly descending through several green meadows and beautiful forest of trees.

We arrive at Jhuni Village at 3:00PM ... School ahead

Weather was perfect, sunny but cool, through out the entire walk. We reached Juhuni at 3:00PM after 5.5 hrs trek. Took up a nice homestay GH room, that was plastered with large pictures of Bollywood Stars! I got a nice DBL room for myself; but Rani Mukherjee was staring at me all the time, wherever I moved around in that room!!

Obviously the Jhuni GH owner's favorite actress is Rani Mukherjee!
