A visit to Ooty's Botanical and Rose Gardens

On 3rd May 2008, re-visited Ooty's famous Botanical Gardens (estd. in 1848). Being full-season month the garden was crowded with people visiting Ooty to enjoy the cool climate and escape the hot summer of the plains.

The Ooty Rose Garden occupies a huge terraced area on the side of a hill
On 3rd May 2008, visited Ooty's famous Rose Garden, with hundreds and hundred of roses on display; on multiple-levels of terraced gardens on the hill-side. Only a few roses are featured here.
