Day-8 From Manang to Yak Kharka via Tenghi & Gunsang - a 9 Km trek with 544m Ascent
This is where the trail from Manang turns north towards Yak Kharkha. You can see the two kholas (Jharsang & Khangsang) join below. If you click image and see enlarged view, you will see the trail to Tilicho Lake heading west, on the opposite valley hill face.

Day-9 From Yak Kharka to Thorang Phedi via Letdar - 8 Km trek with 400m Ascent

Day-10 From Thorang Phedi to Mukthinath via Thorang La Pass 10 hrs - 13 Kms trek with 750m Ascent & 1500m Descent
6:15am reaching the High Camp at 4450m; we had started the climb in the dark at 4:45am from the lower Base Camp.
7:35am High Camp is now way down ... as we climb further up to Thoranga-La Pass

View as we start our way down to Muktinath from the top at 10am
Mithoo, my Guide-Porter, is pretty thrilled and salutes; having made it up to here, at 17,764 feet high pass after trekking for 10 days.
Amazing view from the meadow, about halfway down, coming from the Thorang-La top at 1:00pm.
Arriving near Mukthinath 4:40 pm .. you can see the white boundary wall of the Temple Complex to the left. The trail goes down to town just by the side of this wall.
