A 22-day Teahouse Trek from Sukhetar to Kanchenjunga S-BC and then via SeleLa pass to Kanchenjunga N-BC and back to Taplejung in Eastern Nepal.
Trek Day - 04 Trek from Mamanke to Yamphudin
An Old Chorten .... as we reach Yamphudin (a.k.a. Sherpagaon) village square. Mingma just arriving to right of Chorten.
Trek Day - 04 > Trek Mamanke to Yamphuding
On 18th Oct 2015 - I spent some time in the morning taking pictures at the Mamankhe Teahouse and the views from there.
Mamankhe (1785M) is a biggish village on this route and the Teahouse we stayed here was good (but Yamphudin GH that we are going to today, was the best in this S-BC Route).

The Mamankhe Teahouse had a nice big lawn and decent rooms and the atmosphere with views was good. We spent some time enjoying the relaxing atmosphere, last evening and even today morning.
We started our trek to Yamphudin at 7:00 AM, first going down steeply to cross a stream on a shaky log-bridge and then climbing up steeply on the other side.
Looking back the way we came ... towards Mamankhe homes (seen on the Right ridge) and kabeli Khola; after 2 Hours of trek at 9:35 AM

Yamphudin-GH in awesome setting & a shop with Beer & Choco bars
We reached Yamphudin (2680M) at 2:00PM and took rooms in the nice GH there. Spent rest of day sitting in their lawn drinking local Beer. Our Team members bought a bunch of Chocolate Bars displayed in their shop window.

Mamankhe Teahouse
Coming down from Mamankhe we crossed this shaky log bridge. Click on Image to enlarge to see that 3 guys already crossed ... and Paul is on left edge of Pic .... stepping carefully down the steep fall to the bridge.
