I forgot to record GPS of this trek; but on GE if you zoom-in you can see the trail clearly

26-April-2012: Today we decided to trek up the ridge above Bharmour (2190M) to visit the Bharmani Mata Temple (2700M). A climb of about 500M via Chaurasi, Helipad and Melkot Village. So after a good breakfast at our Hotel restaurant downstairs; we walked up the street past the Chaurasi complex (where the school assembly prayer was just starting) and walked up the climbing narrow lanes of Old Bharmour homes and then past the Helipad.

We walked a bit along the ridge for some more time and soon reached Melkot Village just as it started raining, a bit heavily, so we stopped under house balcony ledge. But we noticed an elderly man calling us to come up to the first floor of his home and sit there and take rest till the rain stops. The gentleman who invited us up turned out be one of the priest at the Bharmani temple and he narrated many 'old tales' about the Bharmani temple and the Chaurasi complex and how it was a important stopover for all the pilgrims who embark on the annual ritual of Manimahesh Parikrama. We had tea in his house as the rain stopped in 30 Minutes or so set off again climbing along the ridge side trail past Melkot.
