This page describes Trek Day-8: Khari-Khola > Bupsa > Khari-La > Puiyan
The bridge over Khari-Khola (1930M); we cross at 7:30AM
We reach Hotel Valley Top at Bupsa at 9:00AM and a have a glass of Lemon-Tea here.

Puiyan can be seen from Khari-La just across the valley ... still a long walk away; it took us another two hours to walk through the side valley cross a bridge to reach Puiyan
After 1.5 hrs walk, we cross this bridge to enter Puiyan Village at 3-10PM
Day-8: 2nd Oct 2007: Khari-Khola (2010M) to Puiyan (2770M)
Next day we started trek at 7:00AM walking down towards the bridge we need to cross Khari Khola river. On the we passed some kids:

Looking back at Khari-Khola and the Chorten at Choka from Bupsa side of the valley see the Chorten on the RHS edge of picture
Continuing the climb further up from Bupsa we pass many terraced fields past settlements of Kharte. After passing several teashosps in Khari we climb past a cleft in the rock and then another final climb reaches us to the top of Khari-La.
The Dudh Kosi can be seen down 1000M below from Khari-La
And finally reach Khari-La top 2840M ... at 1:45PM
Trekkers Lodge Puiyan (2770M) ... we stay in this Lodge for the night
