9 Return Lukla

We started trek to Mong-La at 7:40AM and reached Namche at 11:00AM

Stayed again at Mountain Dreams GH. On the way got some very clear views of snow peaks along the trail. The day was sunny and nice all day.

Trek Day-17 - 30th Oct 2019 - Namche to Phakding

Leaving Namche Bazaar in the morning 8:00AM we walked down. At the lower level near town's entry gate some people were handing small Bags with "Carry Me Back" bags ..basically some 'plastic trash' they had collected in the mountains that they want Trekkers to be carried down to Lukla. Not very heavy and most Trekkers were doing it happily.

We stopped at Benkar for Lunch lost about 2 hours ... and then carried on to Phakding by 3:00PM for night-halt at the "Beer Garden GH". That evening there was candle-lit dance going on with blaring speakers, jus outside our GH. A fund-raiser for a local school I think. Some Tourists contributed NRs 500 to 1000/-

Trek Day-18 - 31st Oct 2019 - Phakding to Lukla airport

We left Phakding at 8:15AM and reached Lukla at 12:45PM. No flights for that day afternoon as cloudy weather had set in. I put my name in the counter operating at the same GH, for tomorrow's flight to KTM. They said I could be flying back by the 3rd flight of Tara Air by around 10AM
