Day-04 (TD-2) -- 15th Oct 2019 - Nunthala to KhariKhola
After Breakfast we left Nunthala at 7:00 AM and walked along main street with beautiful tea-houses on both sides, going down towards the Rai Village Phuleli and then on to the Dudh Kosi River Crossing (1450M) at about 10:30 AM on a suspension Bridge.

After crossing the river started the climb to Khari-Khola and reached the top 1:30 PM and decided to stay here at a GH at the Pass rather than go down into the Village. We checked into the Hill Top GH and had a Dal-bhat and rest. In the evening went up the short ridge climb to the Chorten. Nice view from there.

Day-05 (TD-3) -- 16th Oct 2019 - KhariKhola to Tham-danda
After Breakfast we started (at 7:15 AM) today's trek from Khari-Khola and walked past all houses of the main village, going down to cross the Khari-river at valley end; to start climbing again up towards Bupsa. We reached Bupsa at 9:50AM from where one can look back to get a panoramic view across the valley to Khari Khola Village and the Chorten on top of the Ridge there.

This is the Trail Junction 'Chautara' where the trail from Arun Valley descends and joins the main trail Bupsa ... some 1 hour before we reach Puiyan
And this Pic is looking up (from that junction) at the trail coming down from Arun Valley ... where I came down in 2017 from that awesome trek - Tumlingtar to Lukla
Continued walking thinking I will reach Puiyan today ... but at 11:50 AM, feeling tired, we stopped at Tham-Danda to stay at a Basic Lodge there. One could see Puiyan from Tham-Danda, across the Valley perhaps 1.5 hours walk away. Nice setting here and views from Tham-danda.

Day-06 (TD-4) - 17th Oct 2019 Tham-Danda to Pakhepani
Left Tham-Danda at 7:30 AM and walked gradually down the S-side of the side valley to a Bridge crossing and then up the N-side of Valley, past Puiyan's many teahouses and gradually climbing. After rounding 2-3 ridge tops finally reached Pakhepani (at 11:30AM) from where you can see Lukla and Runway, way ahead and the many flights droning into land at this high-altitude airport.

Nice views from here and remembered I had a made a call home to my wife in Mumbai in 2007 from this teahouse. I decided to stay here at this nice Lodge for 1 night.
