4 Aihole

18th March 2010: After seeing Pattadakal, I drove another 14Kms through scenic rural roads to Aihole; reaching at about 8:15AM. The main few temples were inside a enclosed gated compound in teh middle of Aihole village. But it seemed most of the other temples were all spread out in the nearby villages. With the Sun starting to warmup already, I decided I will see the main complex and see the rest some other visit during winter. By 9:00AM I was done here and started off for Kolhapur via Bagalkot.
