SK and I had planned this trek for mid-Feb 2019 to re-enact some of our past snow treks in Uttarakhand with base as Ukhimath in Kedarnath Route area. I had never gone to this area before but SK had and knew lots of places around Ukhimath worth trekking and enjoying snow walks there.
Unfortunately, due to some reason SK could not come. In February 2019 there were record snowfall in the Chopta-Tungnath region and so I decided to go alone and do it as per SK's original itinerary.
