Day-02 Trek from Lespar to Nangi

We left Lespar Home at 8:10AM with just a cup of tea; but stopped at a Upper Lespar Teahouse at 8:45AM for a breakfast of Chapatti and Omelette. and restarted trek at 10:00AM thus losing an hour.

At 11:25AM we reached a Dobato Junction at 2488M where we a 5-way signpost showed us the way to Nangi. A long haul over several ridges with awesome snow-peak views finally at 2:00PM brought us on top of ridge from where we could see Nangi Village way down in a bowl of a valley.

We however just contoured along the trail without getting down to the village and reached the Nangi Community Lodge (3:15PM) on a ridge jutting out way above the Village.

At the Lodge we found nobody was there as all the staff had gone down to the village where they were celebrating some festival with a feast; as we could hear revelry noise floating up from the village. I decided to wait here while Nirmal went down to see if could get somebody up here to allot me a room and arrange for dinner.

Finally at 5:00PM some Lodge staff came up and cooked me Veg Noodle soup. The Lodge was extremely nice and well furnished Dining Hall as well. During dinner at 6:30PM met some teacher staff of the Nangi Community School, which was close by on the same ridge near our Lodge. Also met a Nepali gentleman there who said he had studied at IIT Delhi and was here to interact with the School staff.
