Ajmer and Pushkar
After tour of Shekawati region I headed to Ajmer to see the Dargah Sharief and then went on to Pushkar for the Camel Fair and Mela

Day-6 21-Nov-2012 After seeing the Nawalgarh Havelis, I went back to Hotel Nawal and checked-out at Noon. Drove to Ajmer via Sikar, and Jaipur BP. Reached Ajmer 5:45PM and took a room in Hotel Samrat near Rly Stn for night. (270KM)
Day-7 22-Nov-2012 7:00AM Walk to Dargah Sharif for brief visit and back in room and checkout at 9:30AM Drive to Pushkar and took a Room (10:30AM) on the eastern bank of Pushkar Lake, in Hotel Pushkar Inn (16KM).
11AM to 2:00PM walked around Lake and visited Bramha Temple, Other temples and the camels & horses on the sand dunes of Mela Carnival area.
In the Evening 5:30PM attended Aarti in the Lake Ghats and walk around crowded streets. Lots of camera toting foreigners everywhere.
Day-8 23-Nov-2012 Checkout at 6:00AM and drove via Ajmer, Nasirabad to join NH79 and halted about 13KM before Ghandinagar on NH8 at Hotal Palav for night. Nice hotel Rs 600/- for a large DBL AC room. (558KM)
Day-9 24-Nov-2012 Check-out 7:30AM Hotel Palav and drive down EP-1 NH-8 arriving Thane 4:50PM (550KM)
