Day-16 Trek Pothana to Kande (via Australian Camp)

Day-16 (20th Dec) Pothana to Kande via Austalian-Camp

We left Pothana after breakfast at 8:30AM. We could see bad weather and clouds on Mardi Himal. So it was good I dropped that part of the trek.

From Pothana the direct way down is to go to Dhampus .. but since I had read about Australian Camp as a nice place, I wanted to see that. So we took a bit of a diversion uphill towards Australian Camp.

We were at Australian Camp by 9:15AM and after a bit of look around went down steeply from there the road side at Kande. We reached Kande by 10:10AM. So today was an easy 1.5 Hrs walk.

After coffee at a roadside tea shop we caught a Bus to Pokhara Bus-stand reaching at 12:30PM.

From Bus stand took a taxi to Fewa Hotel where Suman had booked a room for me in advance. After a nice hot shower I called Suman again to ask him to book a Bus ticket for both of us to Kathmandu for tomorrow. Thus ended this awesome tre.
