A 22-day Teahouse Trek from Sukhetar to Kanchenjunga S-BC and then via SeleLa pass to Kanchenjunga N-BC and back to Taplejung in Eastern Nepal.

Today's walk is along the Simbua Khola river on the western banks ... through thick Forests & Rhododendrons climbing steadily all the way
Trek Day - 07 Trek Tortong to Cheram/Tseram
On 21st Oct 2015 - After breakfast (of potatoes & eggs) we start our Trek at 7:15AM. Todays walk is along the Roaring River Simbua Khola all the way and mostly through forests of Rhododendron trees.(See banner Pic).
Our start was at 2995M altitude and Tseram is at 3870M ...so nearly 900M climb ... but very steadily rising all the way.

When the Valley opened a bit we could see parts of Kanchenjunga

We reached Tseram at 1:30pm. There were three Teahouses open and after discussing Rates our team decided to stay at Yalunkhang Teahouse. There were some snow peaks visible from Tseram. But not much due to clouds.
I stayed here sharing a Room with Manzey. Later in the evening we had Rakshi and dinner of Chappati, Curry and Dal. Slept early at 8:00PM and had a good sleep till 6:00AM

At Tortong, a British Group had come yesterday in late afternoon ...
and stayed in these Orange Tents. They too were packing up as we left.

Tseram is a wide open valley ... we reached at 1:30PM
