This is another book that I bought through a book club, which I was instantly attracted to as soon as I saw the cover displayed. The premise of the story was also highly interesting, who, after all, would not be hooked by a story revolving around Dinosaurs being brought back to life.
The book was everything it promised to be and everything I had hoped it would be. It's a nicely paced action adventure with a very interesting scientific concept, coupled with the problems that arise when arrogance and hubris walk hand in hand.
When the film came out I went to see it at a new cinema that had recently opened, and my sister asked if she could tag along too as she was interested in seeing the film, so naturally, I said yes. It turned out that the sound system in the cinema was excellent, with speakers all around the auditorium, which made the cries and roars of the Dinosaurs, not just reverberated but sound as if they were right next to you. There were several times when this caused my sister, along with just about everyone else, to violently jump in their seats.
The second book was just as enjoyable and interesting as the first one, though the film, which had a slightly different storyline, wasn't as captivating as the first.
An astonishing technique for recovering and cloning dinosaur DNA has been discovered. Now humankind’s most thrilling fantasies have come true.
Creatures extinct for eons roam Jurassic Park with their awesome presence and profound mystery, and all the world can visit them - for a price.
