1. About These Terms

These Terms govern your use of VoM (“App”), provided by Corp. Exciting (“Developer,” “we,” or “us”).

By using the App, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

Our Privacy Policy separately explains how information is handled. Agreement to these Terms does not replace any privacy consent required by law.

2. What VoM Provides

VoM is a voice filter and audio editing app that allows you to:

Record your voice or import supported audio files.
Apply voice filters and adjust available sound settings.
Preview original and transformed audio.
Save, organize, and share recordings.

VoM uses audio signal processing. It does not use generative AI or provide AI voice cloning.

Recording and voice transformation take place on your device. Features, supported formats, processing times, and recording limits may vary by device and App version.

VoM does not provide system-wide voice replacement or live telephone-call voice changing.

3. Eligibility

VoM is not intended for children under 13, or under 14 in the Republic of Korea. Any higher minimum age required by local law applies.

Minors must obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

4. Your Audio and Usage Rights

You retain the rights you hold in your original recordings and transformed audio. Using VoM does not transfer ownership of your recordings to us.

You may use your resulting audio in personal or commercial projects, including YouTube videos, podcasts, and social media content, provided you have the necessary rights and permissions.

We do not charge an additional royalty merely because you applied a VoM filter.

A voice filter does not grant rights to someone else’s music, recording, performance, identity, name, or likeness. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required to record, transform, publish, or commercially use the source material.

We do not guarantee copyright protection, monetization eligibility, or acceptance by another platform.

5. Prohibited Use

You must not use the App to:

Make or distribute recordings unlawfully.
Commit fraud or impersonate someone to deceive others.
Falsely suggest another person’s participation or endorsement.
Harass, threaten, exploit, or violate another person’s rights.
Distribute unlawful content or infringe intellectual property.
Interfere with the App, advertising systems, or security controls.

Unauthorized copying or reverse engineering is prohibited except where permitted by applicable law or an applicable software license.

6. Audio Quality and Limitations

Results depend on the source recording, microphone, environment, device, and selected settings.

We do not guarantee perfect noise removal, distortion-free output, or an exact resemblance to a particular person.

Voice transformation does not guarantee anonymity. Others may still recognize you from your speech, context, or other information.

Please preview recordings before publishing and keep separate copies of important files.

7. Free Features and Advertising

The current App offers its voice filters without an in-app purchase or subscription.

The App is supported by advertising, including Google AdMob. Advertising-related information is handled as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Advertisements and linked services are provided by third parties. Displaying an advertisement does not constitute our endorsement or guarantee of the advertised product.

Any future paid offering would require separate pricing information and any legally required agreement before purchase.

8. App Intellectual Property

The App’s software, branding, interface, and Developer-created assets belong to the Developer or their respective rights holders.

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for lawful personal or commercial creative purposes.

This provision does not transfer ownership of your recordings to us.

9. Local Files and External Sharing

You control the files you save or share. When you export audio to another app, service, or recipient, its further handling is subject to that recipient’s practices.

Uninstalling or clearing App storage ordinarily removes App-private files. Exported copies, recipient copies, and device or cloud backups may remain.

We do not provide a remote backup or recovery service for your recordings.

10. Updates and Availability

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features for technical, security, legal, or operational reasons.

Where reasonably practicable, we will give notice of material changes affecting existing functionality. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time.

11. Warranties and Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We are not responsible for unlawful user content or losses caused by independent third parties outside our reasonable control, except where applicable law imposes responsibility on us.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

12. Changes to These Terms

We will publish updated Terms with a revised date and provide appropriate notice of material changes.

Where express acceptance or advance notice is required by law, we will follow those requirements. Changes will not retroactively remove accrued rights.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, subject to mandatory protections under the laws of your place of residence.

Nothing in these Terms removes your right to use a court or remedy available under applicable law.

1. Overview

VoM is a voice filter and audio editing app.

No account is required. Recording and voice transformation take place on your device.

We do not upload your recordings or imported audio to Developer servers for voice processing. VoM does not use generative AI, AI voice cloning, or your recordings for AI training.

The App uses Google AdMob advertising, which involves separate processing of certain device and advertising information.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

VoM stores information locally to provide its features, including:

Original recordings and imported audio.
Transformed audio files.
Recording titles, timestamps, and file references.
Favorite filters and sound settings.
Language, theme, and other preferences.

Audio files are stored in App-private storage. Settings and metadata may be stored using SharedPreferences or equivalent local storage.

These mechanisms are not represented as a separately encrypted audio vault.

We do not operate a server-based account system or an online library of your recordings.

3. Microphone and File Access

Microphone: Used when you choose to record audio. You may deny or revoke access through your device settings. Microphone recording will be unavailable without permission.

File selection: Used to import audio you select. Choosing a file does not give the Developer general access to your other files.

VoM’s voice filter functions do not require access to your contacts or precise GPS location.

The App does not create voiceprints to identify you or use your recordings for biometric authentication.

4. Google AdMob Advertising

VoM uses Google AdMob through the Google Mobile Ads SDK.

Depending on device settings, permissions, region, consent, and advertising configuration, Google may process:

Advertising or other device identifiers, where available.
IP address and approximate location inferred from it.
App and advertisement interactions.
Diagnostic and performance information.

These data may be used for ad delivery, measurement, service maintenance, fraud prevention, and personalized advertising where permitted.

VoM does not provide your audio files to AdMob as advertising content.

We do not sell your recordings. However, some advertising-related disclosures may qualify as “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under applicable privacy laws.

Non-personalized advertising may still involve data processing. Disabling personalized advertising does not necessarily remove advertisements or stop all advertising-related processing.

Applicable consent and opt-out requirements must be followed. Available choices may be presented through advertising privacy messages, required in-app privacy options, and device advertising settings.

5. Information You Share

Exporting audio: When you choose to save or share a recording outside VoM, the selected app, storage provider, or recipient receives it. Their practices govern subsequent handling.

Support requests: If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments or other information you voluntarily provide. We use this information to respond, troubleshoot, and address relevant legal or security matters.

Please do not send sensitive recordings or personal information unless necessary for your request.

External links: Websites and social services opened from the App have their own privacy policies.

6. Retention and Deletion

Local recordings remain until deleted, replaced by the App’s file management processes, or removed through clearing App storage or uninstalling.

Uninstalling ordinarily removes App-private data. It does not necessarily delete exported files, copies held by others, or device and cloud backups. Restoring a backup may restore information.

Support communications are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request and satisfy applicable legal, security, or dispute-resolution needs.

Google applies its own retention and deletion practices to information it receives. Uninstalling VoM does not automatically delete data already processed independently by Google.

We cannot remotely access or delete recordings held only on your device.

7. Disclosure of Information

Information may be disclosed:

To advertising providers as described above.
To service providers handling support communications on our behalf.
To recipients you select when sharing.
When legally required, or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims.
In connection with a lawful business transfer, subject to applicable safeguards and notice requirements.

These circumstances do not give us access to recordings stored only on your device.

8. International Processing

Your audio remains on your device unless you choose to export or send it.

Advertising information and support communications may be processed in the United States or other countries where the relevant providers operate.

Where applicable law requires transfer disclosures, safeguards, or separate consent, those requirements apply before the relevant transfer. Acceptance of the Terms is not blanket consent to international transfers or personalized advertising.

9. Your Choices and Rights

You can:

Control microphone permission.
Delete recordings and clear local App storage.
Manage available advertising privacy choices.
Choose what to export or send to support.
Stop using or uninstall the App.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, obtain a portable copy of, or object to processing of personal information. You may also have rights to withdraw consent, opt out of certain advertising disclosures, or appeal a request decision.

Contact corp.exciting@gmail.com to exercise applicable rights. We may request proportionate verification. We do not require a voice sample or account creation for a privacy request.

Where we do not hold the requested information, we will explain that limitation. You may also complain to the relevant privacy authority.

10. Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information handled, including operating system storage isolation, permission controls, and limited access to support information.

No system is completely secure. Device compromise, unauthorized device access, or external sharing may expose information.

We will provide legally required notices if a qualifying security incident affects information we handle.

11. Children’s Privacy

VoM is not directed to children under 13, or under 14 in Korea. A higher minimum age may apply under local law.

We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

An app store content rating does not replace applicable children’s privacy requirements.

12. Policy Updates

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in functionality, providers, or legal requirements.

Material changes will receive appropriate notice. Where new consent is required, we will obtain it before the relevant processing begins.
