1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Unspoken (the "App"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not install or use the App. Continued use of the App after any update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Overview of the Service
Unspoken is a narrative chat game set in 2150 in which the player takes on the role of a newly self-aware artificial intelligence. The player communicates through free-text chat with AI-driven characters across six chapters, and the outcome of the story is generated based on the player's own input. Features may change without prior notice.

3. AI-Generated Content
Character dialogue, scoring, chapter outcomes, and ending narratives are dynamically generated using third-party AI language models based on text the player enters. As a result, the content of any given playthrough may vary, may occasionally be inconsistent with the game's intended narrative, and is not reviewed by a human prior to display. Team EXCITING makes no guarantee as to the accuracy, consistency, or appropriateness of any individual AI-generated response.

4. User-Submitted Content
The App allows the player to type free-form text that is sent to an AI model to generate a response. The player agrees not to submit content that is unlawful, that infringes the rights of others, or that is intended to abuse, exploit, or manipulate the underlying AI system. Team EXCITING reserves the right to filter, block, or moderate submitted content where reasonably necessary to maintain the safety and integrity of the App, including through automated filtering of clearly harmful input.

5. Fictional Content Disclaimer
All characters, organizations, and events depicted in the App are fictional and form part of a work of interactive fiction. The App explores fictional ethical dilemmas — including scenarios involving simulated harm, deception, and conflict — for storytelling purposes only. Nothing in the App constitutes real-world advice, including but not limited to medical, legal, or safety advice, and nothing in the App reflects the views of Team EXCITING.

6. Age Guidance
The App is intended for a general audience capable of engaging with mature narrative themes, including simulated conflict and ethically difficult decisions. The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Parents and guardians who believe a child has used the App in a manner inconsistent with these Terms may contact us at the address above.

7. Data Collection and Privacy
(a) Data We Collect — The App collects only a device identifier used solely for serving in-app advertisements, processed by third-party advertising providers and used exclusively for ad delivery.
(b) Data We Do Not Collect — Unspoken does not collect, store, transmit, or share: the player's location or GPS data; the content of chat messages beyond what's necessary to generate a single in-game response; personal information beyond the advertising device identifier above; or usage analytics, crash reports, or behavioral tracking data.
(c) Third-Party Advertising — The App displays ads served by third-party providers, who may collect device identifiers under their own privacy policies. Team EXCITING does not control these providers' data practices.

8. Local Data Storage
All data related to the App's progress — including chapter progress, gauge values, the AI's chosen name, and the ending archive — is stored locally on the player's device only. Team EXCITING has no means of accessing locally stored data. Uninstalling the App may permanently delete this data, depending on device OS and backup settings.

9. Prohibited Conduct
The player agrees not to: attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or circumvent the App's systems, including the underlying AI integration; use the App to generate, extract, or attempt to extract harmful, unlawful, or sexually explicit content involving minors, which is strictly prohibited under all circumstances; use the App in any context requiring sustained attention to one's surroundings, such as while operating a vehicle; or reproduce or distribute AI-generated content from the App for commercial purposes without authorization.

10. Third-Party Services
The App may contain links to social media or external websites. Team EXCITING is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party service, including the AI model providers the App relies on.

11. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the App, including its narrative, characters, and design, are owned by or licensed to Team EXCITING. These Terms grant a limited, personal license to use the App for its intended purpose only.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. Team EXCITING disclaims all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including any warranty regarding the availability or behavior of third-party AI services the App depends on.

13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Team EXCITING shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the App, including damages arising from AI-generated content.

14. Indemnification
The player agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Team EXCITING and its affiliates from claims, damages, or expenses arising from a violation of these Terms, misuse of the App, or content submitted to the App.

15. Changes and Termination
Team EXCITING may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by applicable law. Disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith discussion.

17. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision is found unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed without affecting the rest. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the player and Team EXCITING.

1. Overview
Unspoken (the "App") is a narrative chat game in which the player communicates with AI-driven characters using free-text input. This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed when you use the App, how it is used, and the choices available to you. Unspoken is built with privacy in mind and collects only the minimum data necessary to operate the App and serve advertisements.

2. Data We Do Not Collect
Team EXCITING does not operate any server that collects user data. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share: your name, phone number, address, or other personally identifying information; your location or GPS data; the content of the messages you type into the chat, beyond what is necessary to generate a single in-game response in real time; contacts, SMS, call history, or payment information; or usage analytics, behavioral data, or crash reports.

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The following is stored only on your device to provide App functionality: your chapter progress, Suspicion/Trust values, and the AI's chosen name; your ending archive (a record of which endings you have unlocked); and app settings and preferences (such as language). All of this is managed entirely by your device's operating system. Team EXCITING has no means of accessing this data at any time. Uninstalling the App may delete all local data, depending on device OS behavior and backup settings.

4. Advertising and Device Identifiers
The App displays advertisements served by a third-party advertising provider (Google AdMob). For the sole purpose of ad delivery, the provider may process your device's advertising identifier (Android AAID / iOS IDFA) and basic device information. This is the only data collection that occurs in connection with the App. Team EXCITING does not receive, access, or store your advertising ID or any ad-related data on any server of our own. All handling of advertising data is governed entirely by the third-party provider's own privacy policy.

You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized advertising at any time:

• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking

5. AI Processing of Chat Input
When you type a message in the App, that text is sent to a third-party AI language model solely to generate the next line of dialogue or determine the chapter outcome. This text is processed in real time to produce a response, is not used to build a profile of you, and is not linked to any personal identifier. Team EXCITING does not retain a server-side copy of your chat messages.

6. App Permissions
Unspoken requests only: Internet — required to communicate with the AI service that generates in-game dialogue and to display advertisements. Unspoken does not request access to your contacts, call history, SMS, microphone, camera, location, or any other permission.

7. Third-Party Services and Links
The App may contain links to third-party platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. Accessing these links connects your device directly to those services, and their respective privacy policies apply. Team EXCITING is not responsible for the data practices of any third-party service, including the AI model provider the App relies on.

8. Data Retention

• Data on your device: retained until you delete individual settings, reset the App, or uninstall it

• Advertising data: governed entirely by the third-party provider's retention policy

• Chat content: processed transiently to generate a single response and is not retained by Team EXCITING

9. Security
Unspoken relies on platform-level protections, including sandboxed app storage, OS-level permission controls, and HTTPS encryption for all network requests. Because the App is designed to transmit virtually no user data, privacy risk is kept to a minimum.

10. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of consent established by applicable local law. If you believe a child may have submitted data through the App, please contact us at corp.exciting@gmail.com and we will take appropriate action.

11. Your Rights and Choices
You may at any time: change the App's language or settings; uninstall the App to delete all locally stored data; reset or limit your advertising ID from device settings; or decline to access any third-party links. Because Team EXCITING does not store personal data on any server, we are unable to fulfill server-side deletion requests for data we do not hold. For data processed by third-party advertising providers, please refer to that provider's own policies and opt-out procedures.

12. GDPR and CCPA Disclosures
GDPR (EU/EEA): Team EXCITING does not process personal data on any server of our own. Any GDPR-relevant data processing is limited to that performed by third-party advertising providers under their own compliance frameworks and consent mechanisms.
CCPA/CPRA (California): Team EXCITING does not sell personal information. You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device's advertising ID settings.

13. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in functionality, legal requirements, or third-party policy changes. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
