Article 1. Purpose These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the mobile application resume.ai: AI Career Consultant (the "App") provided by Corp. Exciting ("Developer", "we", "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Article 2. Service Description resume.ai is an AI-powered career assistant designed to help users analyze résumés, prepare for job interviews, receive career advice, and stay informed on hiring market trends.

The App provides:

• AI-powered résumé analysis including scoring, strengths, improvements, and missing ATS keywords based on uploaded PDF or image files

• AI voice interview simulation tailored to specific job roles and candidate backgrounds

• Career advisor chat for guidance on salary negotiation, job searching, LinkedIn optimization, career transitions, and offer evaluation

• Hiring news feed powered by live RSS sources covering job market trends and employment updates

• Full multilingual support in English, Korean, Japanese, and Spanish

What the App Does NOT Provide:

The App does NOT:

• Act as a recruitment agency, job placement service, or staffing platform

• Apply to jobs or contact employers on behalf of users

• Access personal accounts, files, or communications beyond what the user explicitly uploads

• Guarantee job offers, interview callbacks, or specific career outcomes

• Provide licensed legal, medical, financial, or psychological professional advice

Article 3. Communication & Content Disclaimer The App provides AI-generated career feedback and guidance based on user input and uploaded content.

You acknowledge that:

• All résumé analysis, interview feedback, and career advice is generated by AI and may vary in accuracy or appropriateness

• Salary figures and market data referenced by the AI are based on training data and may not reflect current market conditions

• The App is NOT affiliated with any employer, recruitment platform, job board, or professional licensing body

• The App does NOT control hiring decisions or influence how employers evaluate candidates

• The App is intended to assist users in improving their career materials and interview readiness. Users are solely responsible for how they apply the generated content.

Article 4. AI Service & Limitations The App uses AI technology to generate résumé feedback, interview questions, and career guidance.

You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies

• Résumé analysis is based on the content visible in uploaded files and may not capture all relevant information

• Voice interview responses are evaluated based on transcribed speech and may be affected by audio quality or speech recognition limitations

• Outputs are provided for informational and assistive purposes only

• The Developer does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content

Article 5. Data Storage & Privacy

1. Local Data Storage All user data — including conversation history, saved results, and language preferences — is stored locally on your device only. The Developer does not store personal user data on its servers.

2. Résumé File Processing When you upload a résumé file for analysis:

• The file content is transmitted to third-party AI services solely for the purpose of generating feedback

• Files are processed in a transient manner and are not retained by the Developer after processing is complete

• Users should avoid uploading résumés containing sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary for analysis

3. AI Processing To provide AI functionality:

• Only the content of user inputs and uploaded files may be processed

• This data is handled without direct personal identifiers where possible

• Text and file content may be transmitted to third-party AI providers solely for response generation

4. No Personal Identification

• The App does not collect personally identifiable information (PII) unless explicitly provided by the user

• The Developer does not have the ability to identify users as individuals

• Third-party AI services do not receive identifiable user identity data

5. Data Usage Restrictions The Developer does NOT:

• Sell or share personal data with third parties for commercial purposes

• Use user data for advertising profiling

• Store user résumés or conversation content on external servers beyond what is required for AI processing

Article 6. Third-Party Services The App relies on third-party services including:

• AI model providers for résumé analysis, interview simulation, and career advice generation

• Speech recognition services for voice interview functionality

• RSS feed providers for hiring news content

• External processing and infrastructure services

These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. The Developer is not responsible for their practices or the accuracy of content sourced from external feeds.

Article 7. User Responsibilities Users agree to:

• Upload only résumé files or content they own or have the right to submit for analysis

• Provide appropriate and lawful input in all chat and interview interactions

• Not use the App for illegal, harmful, abusive, or deceptive activities

• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or exploit the App or its AI systems

• Use their own judgment when applying AI-generated career suggestions, and seek qualified professional advice where appropriate

Article 8. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind

• The Developer is not responsible for career outcomes, hiring decisions, or results arising from the use of AI-generated feedback

• The Developer is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App, including damages resulting from reliance on résumé analysis, interview feedback, or career advice

Article 9. Intellectual Property All content, design, code, and features of the App are the property of Corp. Exciting. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

Article 10. Service Changes The Developer may modify, suspend, or discontinue any features — including résumé analysis, voice interview, career chat, or news feed — at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of such changes.

Article 11. Changes to Terms These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Users are encouraged to review these Terms regularly.

Article 12. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.

resume.ai ("App") is an AI-powered career assistant that helps users analyze résumés, prepare for job interviews, receive personalized career advice, and stay informed on hiring trends.

resume.ai is built with a privacy-first architecture:

• No account required

• No personal data stored on developer servers

• All user data remains on-device

• Only the content you explicitly upload or enter is processed for AI functionality

❌ Full conversation history or résumé files on any external server

How It Works

1. Your input or uploaded file is sent via HTTPS

2. It is processed through a secure proxy (Cloudflare)

3. Forwarded to a third-party AI provider (e.g., Groq)

4. A response is generated and returned to your device

Résumé File Processing

When you upload a résumé for analysis:

• The file content is converted and transmitted solely for the purpose of generating feedback

• Files are processed transiently and are not retained by the Developer after analysis is complete

• We recommend avoiding the inclusion of highly sensitive personal information (e.g., national ID numbers, financial details) in uploaded résumés

Important Clarifications

✔ Corp. Exciting does NOT store your résumé files or inputs on its servers

✔ Corp. Exciting does NOT use your data to train AI models

✔ Corp. Exciting does NOT log your career conversations or interview sessions

User Identity Protection

• No system exists to identify you as an individual

• No account linking, tracking, or profiling

• Third-party AI providers do NOT receive identifiable user identity data

4. Voice Interview & Speech Processing

resume.ai includes an AI voice interview feature that uses your device microphone.

Important:

• Microphone access is requested only when you actively start a voice interview session

• Speech is transcribed locally or via secure transmission solely to generate interview responses

• The App does NOT record, store, or transmit audio files

• You can revoke microphone permission at any time in your device settings

5. Résumé Upload Notice

resume.ai allows you to upload résumé files in PDF, PNG, JPG, or JPEG format for AI analysis.

Important:

• Uploaded files are used solely to generate career feedback

• Files are not stored on Developer servers after processing

• The App does NOT share your résumé with employers, recruiters, or third parties

• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any content you upload

6. Third-Party Services

resume.ai relies on the following third-party services:

• AI model providers (e.g., Groq) for résumé analysis, interview simulation, and career advice

• Infrastructure services (e.g., Cloudflare) for secure request proxying

• RSS feed providers for hiring news content

• Speech recognition services for voice interview functionality

✔ Limit exposure → avoid entering sensitive personal information beyond what is needed

✔ Contact us → request clarification or raise privacy concerns anytime

10. Children's Privacy

resume.ai is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 18. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the App, please contact us at corp.exciting@gmail.com.

11. International Data Processing

AI requests may be processed in regions such as the United States.

• All transmissions are encrypted via HTTPS

• Corp. Exciting does not store or transfer personal data internationally

• Third-party AI providers process data under their own applicable data protection frameworks

We may update this policy to reflect:

• Legal or regulatory changes
