Article 1. Purpose

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the mobile application GeuKut (the "App") provided by Corp. Exciting ("Developer", "we", "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Article 2. Service Description

GeuKut is a retro-style camera application that applies creative film and video filters, supports photo booth shooting modes, and provides layout composition tools for personal photography.

The App provides:

- Retro film filters applied to photos and videos captured through the device camera

- Booth Mode for automated sequential photo capture

- Layout Studio for compositing and exporting photo strips

- A built-in gallery for managing saved photos and videos

What the App Does NOT Provide:

- Cloud storage, backup, or synchronization services

- Social networking, sharing platforms, or messaging services

- Any guarantee of specific visual results, as outputs may vary by device hardware and lighting conditions

Article 3. Camera & Media Permissions

The App requires access to your device camera and media storage solely to provide its core photography features.

You acknowledge that:

- Camera and microphone access is used exclusively for in-app photo and video capture

- Media storage access is used solely to save and retrieve photos and videos on your device

- The Developer does not access, transmit, or store your photos or videos on any external server

- All captured media remains on your device under your full control

Article 4. Filters & Creative Output Disclaimer

GeuKut applies creative filters and effects for artistic and personal use purposes only.

You acknowledge that:

- Filter results may vary depending on device camera hardware, OS version, and lighting conditions

- The Developer does not guarantee specific visual outcomes for any photo or video

- All creative output is the responsibility of the user

Article 5. Data Storage & Privacy

1. Local Data Storage

All user data — including photos, videos, settings, and preferences — is stored locally on your device only. The Developer does not store personal user data on external servers.

2. No Personal Data Collection

The App does not collect, transmit, or process personally identifiable information (PII).

The Developer does not have the ability to identify users as individuals.

3. Third-Party SDKs

The App may include third-party SDKs (e.g., advertising networks, analytics) that operate under their own privacy policies. These services may collect anonymized, non-identifiable usage data in accordance with applicable law. The Developer does not sell or share personal data with third parties for profiling purposes.

4. Data Usage Restrictions

The Developer does NOT:

- Sell or share personal data with third parties

- Use user data for targeted advertising profiling

- Store user media or content on external servers

Article 6. Advertising

The App may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks (e.g., Google AdMob).

You acknowledge that:

- Ads are served by third-party providers under their own terms and privacy policies

- The Developer does not control the content of third-party advertisements

- Ad personalization may be subject to your device's advertising settings and applicable privacy laws including GDPR and CCPA

Article 7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, filters, and features of the App are the property of Corp. Exciting.

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

Users retain full ownership of all photos and videos they capture using the App.

Article 8. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

- Use the App in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws

- Not use the App to capture, store, or distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing content

- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or exploit the App or its filters

- Obtain any necessary consents when photographing or recording other individuals

Article 9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

- The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied

- The Developer is not responsible for any loss of photos, videos, or data resulting from device failure, OS updates, or user error

- The Developer is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the App

- The Developer does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App

Article 10. Service Changes

The Developer may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any features of the App at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated App.

Article 11. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. The updated Terms will be posted within the App. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Article 12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.

- No account required

- No personal data stored on developer servers

- All user data remains on-device

- Camera and media access used solely for in-app functionality

2. Data We Collect

A. Data We DO NOT Collect

Corp. Exciting does NOT collect or store the following on its servers:

❌ Name, email address, phone number, or any personal identifiers

❌ Photos, videos, or any media you capture using the App

❌ Contacts or device personal files

❌ Exact location data (GPS)

❌ Device identifiers (IMEI, MAC address)

❌ Any usage history on external servers

B. Data Stored Locally (On-Device Only)

GeuKut stores the following only on your device:

3. Camera & Media Permissions

To provide its core features, GeuKut requires the following device permissions:

- Camera — used solely to capture photos and videos within the App

- Microphone — used solely for video recording within the App

- Photo Library / Media Storage — used solely to save and retrieve your captured media

Important:

✔ The Developer does NOT access your camera roll beyond what you explicitly save

✔ The Developer does NOT transmit your photos or videos to any external server

✔ All captured media remains fully under your control on your device

4. Advertising

GeuKut may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks (e.g., Google AdMob).

- Ads are served by third-party providers under their own terms and privacy policies

- The Developer does not control the content of third-party advertisements

- Ad personalization may be subject to your device's advertising settings

- Users in applicable regions (EU, California) may have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA

- To opt out of personalized ads, adjust your device's advertising settings

5. Third-Party Services

GeuKut may rely on:

- Advertising platforms (e.g., Google AdMob)

- Crash reporting or analytics SDKs (anonymized, non-identifiable)

These services operate under their own privacy policies. The Developer is not responsible for their data practices.

6. Data Retention

8. Your Rights & Control

You can:

✔ Delete all data → uninstall the app

✔ Manage media → delete photos and videos directly within the app gallery

✔ Control ad personalization → adjust your device's advertising settings

9. Children's Privacy

GeuKut is intended for users aged 13 and above.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us immediately.

10. International Data Processing

Third-party advertising or analytics SDKs may process anonymized data in regions such as the United States.

- Corp. Exciting does not store or transfer your personal data internationally

- All third-party data handling is subject to their respective privacy policies

11. Privacy Policy Updates

We may update this policy to reflect:

- Legal or regulatory changes

- New App features

- Third-party service changes

Updates will be communicated via:

- App Store / Google Play description

- In-app notice (where applicable)

12. Disclaimer

GeuKut is a creative photography tool intended for personal and artistic use.

Corp. Exciting is not responsible for:

- Any loss of photos or videos due to device failure or uninstallation

- Visual output variations due to device hardware differences

- Third-party service behavior or their data practices
