any damages caused by visiting links, connecting to networks, or saving data obtained via QR codes,
device behavior such as battery usage, performance changes, storage use, or network consumption,
errors, misinterpretations, or outcomes resulting from scanned content.

QR Master should not be considered a security tool or a replacement for antivirus software, professional judgment, or critical evaluation.

Team EXCITING bears no legal liability for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of QR Master, including but not limited to:

exposure to harmful, misleading, or offensive third-party content,
malware, phishing, scams, or data loss originating from scanned links or networks,
connection issues, data charges, or access problems caused by Wi-Fi QR codes,
incorrect contact information saved from vCard or contact QR codes,
misunderstandings or losses resulting from reliance on scanned data.

Use of QR Master is entirely at your own risk. Users are solely responsible for evaluating the safety and reliability of any content or action triggered by scanning.

3. Data & Privacy

QR Master is designed primarily as an on-device utility app.

In general:

The app does not require account creation or login.
The app does not upload scan history to Team EXCITING servers by default.
All scans are processed locally on the device.

On-Device Data

QR Master may store the following information locally on your device:

scan history and scan results (URLs, text, Wi-Fi data, contact details),
generated QR codes created by the user,
app preferences such as theme settings, filters, or last-used options.

This data is used only to operate the app and improve user experience.
Deleting the app will remove locally stored data managed by the app.

Gallery Scanning

When scanning images from the gallery:

selected images are processed locally,
images are not uploaded to Team EXCITING servers,
access is limited to user-selected files only.

Wi-Fi & Contact Data

Wi-Fi QR codes are displayed for informational purposes only. Actual connection is handled by the operating system.
Contact data parsed from vCard QR codes is shown to the user and saved only with explicit user action.

QR Master does not validate the security of networks or the correctness of contact information.

Third-Party Content

When using QR Master:

your device connects directly to third-party websites, services, or networks referenced by scanned codes,
those third parties may collect data according to their own privacy policies,
such data collection is outside the control of Team EXCITING.
