Article 1. Purpose

These Terms of Service govern the conditions, procedures, and rights and responsibilities between users and the developer regarding the use of the Keyless: AI Voice Keyboard application (hereinafter "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Article 2. Service Description & Features

1. Provided Features

Keyless is an AI-powered voice keyboard utility that provides the following features:

• Real-time speech-to-text conversion using the device's built-in speech recognition engine

• AI-powered text refinement (filler word removal, grammar correction, tone adjustment, auto-formatting)

• Multi-language support (12+ languages including English, Spanish, French, Korean, Japanese, and more)

• Emoji picker integrated within the keyboard interface

• Text sharing and clipboard copy functionality

• AI model selection for personalized output quality

• Tone customization (Auto, Professional, Casual, Friendly, Concise)

2. What the App Does NOT Provide

• Guaranteed accuracy of speech recognition results

• Storage or transmission of voice recordings

• Real-time human review of transcribed content

• Payment, subscription management, or billing services within the App itself

3. AI Service Infrastructure

AI text refinement is powered via a secure proxy server hosted on Cloudflare Workers, which routes requests to third-party large language model (LLM) providers. The App does not directly expose any API keys to the client.

Article 3. Microphone & Voice Data

1. Microphone Permission

The App requests access to the device microphone solely for speech-to-text transcription. This permission is requested upon first use. If denied, voice input functionality will not be available.

2. Voice Data Handling

• Voice audio is processed entirely on-device using the operating system's native speech recognition engine (Android SpeechRecognizer / iOS SFSpeechRecognizer)

• No raw audio recordings are transmitted to, stored on, or retained by the developer's servers

• Transcribed text sent to the AI refinement endpoint is transmitted over HTTPS and is not stored or logged by the developer

• All voice data is discarded immediately after processing

3. Third-Party Speech Engines

On-device speech recognition is handled by the respective platform provider (Google on Android, Apple on iOS). Their respective privacy policies govern how speech data is handled at the OS level.

Article 4. Personal Data Collection & Processing

1. Data Stored Locally (On-Device Only)

The App stores the following data exclusively in the device's local storage (SharedPreferences):

• Selected AI model preference

• Selected language preference

• Selected tone preference

• Onboarding completion status

• Theme mode preference

2. Data NOT Collected

The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share:

• Name, email address, phone number, or any personally identifiable information

• Payment or financial information

• Contacts, photos, or other device personal data

• Advertising identifiers or unique device identifiers

• Voice recordings or raw audio data

• Full conversation history on any external server

3. Data Deletion

All locally stored data is permanently deleted upon uninstalling the App. Users may also manually clear App data via device settings at any time.

4. Future Changes

If analytics or crash reporting SDKs are introduced in future versions, these Terms will be revised and users will be notified in advance via App Store release notes or in-app announcement. No personally identifiable information will be collected without explicit user consent.

Article 5. AI Text Processing

1. How AI Refinement Works

When a user activates the AI refinement feature, the transcribed text is transmitted to the developer's Cloudflare Worker proxy endpoint over an encrypted HTTPS connection. The proxy forwards the request to a third-party LLM provider (currently Groq) for processing and returns the refined text to the device.

2. Data Retention by Third Parties

The developer configures the proxy with a zero data retention policy where supported. However, users should be aware that third-party LLM providers may have their own data handling policies. Please refer to the applicable provider's privacy policy for details.

3. No Training on User Data

The developer does not use any user-submitted text to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model.

Article 6. Advertising

The App may display advertisements served by Google AdMob. Google may use device information and app activity data to serve personalized ads in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. Users may opt out of personalized advertising through their device settings.

Article 7. User Obligations

Users agree to use the App in accordance with the following:

• Not to use the App while driving or in any situation where device use is dangerous or prohibited by law

• Not to attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or tamper with the App's code

• Not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations

• Not to use the App in any manner that infringes upon the rights of others

• Not to attempt to circumvent the App's security measures or access controls

Article 8. Limitation of Liability

1. Accuracy of AI Output

The text refinement results produced by the AI are generated automatically and may contain errors, omissions, or unintended alterations. The developer makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.

2. Speech Recognition Accuracy

Speech recognition is performed by the device's operating system and is subject to limitations including but not limited to background noise, accent variation, and network conditions. The developer is not responsible for transcription errors.

3. Service Interruptions

The developer is not liable for service interruptions caused by third-party API outages, network failures, operating system updates, or device compatibility issues.

4. Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the App.

Article 9. Intellectual Property

All software, design, icons, code, and other components of the App are the intellectual property of the developer (Corp. Exciting). Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. No rights are granted to reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on the App.

Article 10. Service Modifications & Termination

The developer reserves the right to add, modify, or remove features, or to terminate the service at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through App Store update notes or in-app announcements where reasonably practicable.

Article 11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated to reflect changes in applicable law, service functionality, or business practices. Continued use of the App following notice of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Users who do not agree to the revised Terms should discontinue use of the App.

Article 12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea. The parties shall first endeavor to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation before initiating formal legal proceedings.

Keyless: AI Voice Keyboard is an AI-powered voice keyboard utility app designed to help users convert speech to polished, refined text using artificial intelligence. The app may provide:

• Real-Time Speech-to-Text — On-device voice recognition powered by the native OS engine

• AI Text Refinement — Automatic removal of filler words, grammar correction, tone adjustment, and auto-formatting via a secure AI proxy

• Multi-Language Support — 12+ languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese, Arabic, Hindi, and Italian

• Emoji Picker — Integrated emoji keyboard panel

• Tone Customization — Auto, Professional, Casual, Friendly, Concise

• AI Model Selection — Choose from multiple large language models optimized for different use cases

• Text Sharing & Copy — Share or copy refined text to any app

Keyless is designed to minimize data collection. All user preferences are stored locally on your device. Keyless does not require an account and transmits only the minimum data necessary to deliver AI refinement functionality.

2. Data We Collect

A. Data Corp. Exciting Does NOT Collect

Corp. Exciting does not collect or store the following on its own servers:

• ❌ Personal information (name, email, phone number, address, etc.)

• ❌ Raw audio recordings — voice is processed entirely on-device by the OS

• ❌ Facial recognition data or biometric information

• ❌ Contacts, SMS, call logs, or photos

• ❌ Device identifiers such as IMEI or MAC address

• ❌ Browsing history or app interaction logs

• ❌ Cloud backups of any user content or preferences

• ❌ Full conversation history on any external server

No Corp. Exciting Backend for User Data: All core preferences and history are stored locally on your device. The only data transmitted externally is the text you explicitly submit for AI refinement, which is handled through a zero-log secure proxy.

C. Third-Party Data Processing

1) Microphone & Speech Recognition (Required for Core Functionality)

Keyless requires access to your device's microphone to perform speech-to-text transcription.

What we do with voice data:

• ✅ Process microphone audio in real-time using the OS-native speech engine

• ✅ Display transcribed text locally on your device

What we do NOT do:

• ❌ Record, store, or upload raw audio to any server

• ❌ Perform voiceprint analysis or speaker identification

• ❌ Retain any audio data after the session ends

• ❌ Share voice data with any third party

2) AI Text Refinement (Cloudflare Workers + Groq)

When you activate the AI refinement feature, the transcribed text is transmitted to a secure proxy server for processing.

Data Flow:

1. Transcribed text is sent over HTTPS to the developer's Cloudflare Worker proxy

2. The proxy authenticates the request and forwards it to Groq's LLM API

3. The refined text is returned to your device and displayed

Data Handling:

• ✅ All transmissions are encrypted via HTTPS

• ✅ The proxy is configured with no persistent logging of request content

• ❌ Corp. Exciting does not store submitted text on its servers

• ❌ Your text is not used to train or fine-tune any AI model by Corp. Exciting

Third-Party Provider: Groq, Inc. processes AI inference requests. Groq's data handling is governed by their Privacy Policy. Users should be aware that third-party LLM providers may have their own data retention practices.

3) Advertising SDK (Google AdMob)

Keyless is ad-supported and uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may process certain device information to deliver relevant ads and measure ad performance.

Important Clarifications:

• Corp. Exciting does NOT collect or store your Advertising ID on its servers

• Advertising identifiers are processed solely by Google for ad delivery

• You can reset or limit your Advertising ID through device settings:

  • Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset Advertising ID / Opt out of Ads Personalization

  • iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Limit Ad Tracking

4) External Links (Settings Screen)

Keyless includes links to third-party destinations including:

• Privacy Policy webpage

• Developer social channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)

• App collection page

• Emergency alerts channel (Telegram)

When you tap these links, your device opens third-party websites or apps directly. Those services may collect data under their own privacy policies. Corp. Exciting does not control their data practices. You are responsible for reviewing the terms and policies of any third-party services you access.

6. Security Measures

Keyless relies on the following security protections:

• Sandboxed app storage — SharedPreferences data is isolated from other apps

• HTTPS encryption — All external transmissions use TLS encryption

• App token authentication — AI proxy requests are authenticated via a secure app token

• Permission-based access — Microphone requires explicit user consent

• No raw audio transmission — Voice data never leaves the device

For Best Security, Users Should:

• Keep your operating system updated

• Review app permissions regularly in device settings

• Revoke microphone permission if you no longer use the app

• Download only from official stores (Google Play, Apple App Store)

7. Your Rights & Choices

You Have the Right To:

8. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Keyless: AI Voice Keyboard is intended for users aged 13 and above (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

• If you are under 13, you must obtain parental or guardian consent before using Keyless

• If we become aware that a user under 13 has provided data without parental consent, we will take steps to address this

• Parents/Guardians: If you believe your child has used Keyless and you wish to request data deletion, contact corp.exciting@gmail.com

Note: Keyless does not collect personal data by default. Microphone access is required for core functionality but no audio is stored or transmitted.

9. International Data Transfers

Groq & Cloudflare (AI Refinement)

AI inference requests processed via Groq may be handled on servers located in the United States or other regions where Groq operates. All transmissions are encrypted via HTTPS.

Google AdMob

Advertising data processed by Google AdMob may be transferred to servers in countries outside your own, including the United States. Google processes advertising data in accordance with applicable data protection laws including GDPR and CCPA.

Corp. Exciting

Corp. Exciting does not transfer personal data internationally because we do not collect or store personal data on our servers. All app preference data remains on your device only.

Keyless is a productivity utility app, not a professional transcription or translation service. Corp. Exciting is not responsible for:

• ❌ Speech recognition accuracy limitations due to accent, noise, or OS engine constraints

• ❌ AI-generated text quality, accuracy, or appropriateness for any specific purpose

• ❌ Device performance changes (battery drain, heat) that may vary by device or OS

• ❌ Third-party service behavior (Groq, AdMob, external links)

• ❌ Data processed by Google AdMob under Google's Privacy Policy

• ❌ Any harm, loss, or dissatisfaction resulting from reliance on AI-refined content

Use of Keyless is at your own discretion. Always review AI-refined text before sending in professional or sensitive contexts.
