Article 1. Purpose

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the mobile application Sudoku AI: Challenge Engine (the "App") provided by Corp. Exciting ("Developer", "we", "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Article 2. Service Description

Sudoku AI is an AI-powered Sudoku puzzle game designed to adapt to each player's real skill level through the Challenge Engine — a real-time performance evaluation system.

The App provides:

- AI-generated Sudoku puzzles calibrated to the player's current level

- Challenge Engine that analyzes speed, accuracy, and behavior to adjust difficulty in real time

- 3-puzzle diagnostic test to determine the player's starting level

- Dynamic level system that rises or falls based on every puzzle result

- Performance tracking including time, error count, and hint usage

- Full multilingual support in English and Korean

- Light and dark theme customization

What the App Does NOT Provide:

The App does NOT:

- Guarantee puzzle accuracy in all cases, as puzzles are AI-generated

- Represent any official Sudoku governing body or institution

- Provide licensed mathematical, educational, or professional certification

- Guarantee specific skill improvement outcomes

Article 3. Communication & Content Disclaimer

The App provides AI-generated Sudoku puzzles and level evaluations based on player performance data.

You acknowledge that:

- All puzzles are generated by AI and may occasionally contain errors or inconsistencies

- Level evaluations are based solely on in-app performance data including time, error count, and hint usage

- The Challenge Engine's assessments are algorithmic and may not perfectly reflect a player's true ability in all cases

- The App is NOT affiliated with any Sudoku organization, educational institution, or puzzle publisher

- Users are solely responsible for how they interpret and apply their level results

Article 4. AI Service & Limitations

The App uses AI technology to generate puzzles and evaluate player performance through the Challenge Engine.

You acknowledge that:

- AI-generated puzzles may occasionally contain errors or solvability issues

- Challenge Engine level evaluations are based on performance metrics and may vary

- Puzzle difficulty is adjusted algorithmically and may not always feel perfectly calibrated

- Outputs are provided for entertainment and skill-building purposes only

- The Developer does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated puzzle content

- For consistent results, players are encouraged to complete full sessions without interruption

Article 5. Data Storage & Privacy

Local Data Storage

All user data — including level history, performance records, theme settings, and language preferences — is stored locally on your device only. The Developer does not store personal user data on its servers.

Puzzle Generation Processing

When a puzzle is requested:

- The request is transmitted to third-party AI services solely for the purpose of generating a puzzle

- Content is processed in a transient manner and is not retained by the Developer after processing is complete

- Users should be aware that puzzle generation requests are processed externally

AI Processing

To provide AI functionality:

- Only puzzle generation requests and anonymous performance parameters may be processed

- This data is handled without direct personal identifiers where possible

- Request content may be transmitted to third-party AI providers solely for puzzle generation

No Personal Identification

- The App does not collect personally identifiable information (PII)

- The Developer does not have the ability to identify users as individuals

- Third-party AI services do not receive identifiable user identity data

Data Usage Restrictions

The Developer does NOT:

- Sell or share personal data with third parties for commercial purposes

- Use user data for advertising profiling

- Store user performance history or game data on external servers beyond what is required for AI processing

Article 6. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services including:

- AI model providers for puzzle generation and difficulty calibration

- External processing and infrastructure services

These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. The Developer is not responsible for their practices or the accuracy of content generated by external AI services.

Article 7. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

- Use the App only for lawful and personal entertainment purposes

- Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or exploit the App or its AI systems

- Not use the App for illegal, harmful, or abusive activities

- Understand that level evaluations are algorithmic and not definitive assessments of intelligence or ability

- Use their own judgment when interpreting Challenge Engine results

Article 8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

- The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind

- The Developer is not responsible for outcomes or decisions arising from the use of AI-generated puzzle content or level evaluations

- The Developer is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App, including damages resulting from puzzle errors or level miscalibration

- The Developer is not liable for any inaccuracies in AI-generated puzzle content

Article 9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and features of the App are the property of Corp. Exciting. The Challenge Engine, level system, and diagnostic evaluation system are proprietary systems developed by Corp. Exciting. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

Article 10. Service Changes

The Developer may modify, suspend, or discontinue any features — including puzzle generation, the Challenge Engine, the diagnostic test, or the level system — at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of such changes.

Article 11. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Users are encouraged to review these Terms regularly.

Article 12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.

Sudoku AI is built with a privacy-first architecture:

* No account required

* No personal data stored on developer servers

* All user data remains on-device

* Only puzzle generation requests are processed externally for AI functionality

2. Data We Collect

A. Data We DO NOT Collect

Corp. Exciting does NOT collect or store the following on its servers:

❌ Name, email address, phone number, or any personal identifiers

❌ Access to your device files, contacts, photos, or location

❌ Device identifiers (IMEI, MAC address)

❌ Game history, level records, or performance data on any external server

B. Data Stored Locally (On-Device Only)

Sudoku AI stores the following only on your device:

3. AI Processing & Data Usage

To provide AI-powered puzzle generation through the Challenge Engine:

* Only anonymous puzzle generation parameters are processed

* No personal identifiers are included in puzzle requests

How It Works

1. A puzzle generation request is sent via HTTPS

2. It is processed through a secure proxy (Cloudflare)

3. Forwarded to a third-party AI provider (e.g., Groq)

4. A puzzle is generated and returned to your device

Puzzle Generation Processing

When a puzzle is requested:

* Only difficulty parameters are transmitted for the purpose of generating a puzzle

* Content is processed transiently and is not retained by the Developer after processing is complete

* No personal information is required or transmitted for puzzle generation

Important Clarifications

✔ Corp. Exciting does NOT store your game history or performance records on its servers

✔ Corp. Exciting does NOT use your data to train AI models

✔ Corp. Exciting does NOT log your gameplay sessions or Challenge Engine results

User Identity Protection

* No system exists to identify you as an individual

* No account linking, tracking, or profiling

* Third-party AI providers do NOT receive identifiable user identity data

4. Challenge Engine & Performance Data

Sudoku AI includes the Challenge Engine, which evaluates your skill level based on time, error count, and hint usage.

Important:

* All performance data is calculated and stored locally on your device only

* The Challenge Engine does NOT transmit your performance data externally

* Level history and diagnostic results are stored only in your device's local storage

* You can reset all Challenge Engine data at any time in the app's Settings

5. Third-Party Services

Sudoku AI relies on the following third-party services:

* AI model providers (e.g., Groq) for puzzle generation and difficulty calibration

* Infrastructure services (e.g., Cloudflare) for secure request proxying

These services operate under their own privacy policies. Corp. Exciting is not responsible for their data practices.

6. Data Retention

👉 Uninstalling the app deletes all locally stored data permanently.

👉 Resetting the diagnostic in Settings clears all level and performance data.

7. Security Measures

Sudoku AI uses:

* HTTPS encryption for all data transmissions

* Secure app sandbox storage for all on-device data

* No server-side user database

* No persistent logging of user inputs or gameplay data

8. Your Rights & Control

You can:

✔ Delete all data → uninstall the app

✔ Reset level and performance data → use the Reset Diagnostic option in Settings

✔ Control what is processed → puzzle generation requests contain no personal information

✔ Contact us → request clarification or raise privacy concerns anytime

9. Protection of Children's Personal Information

Sudoku AI is suitable for all ages. We do not intentionally collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the App, please contact us at corp.exciting@gmail.com. When children use the App, parental guidance is recommended.

10. International Data Processing

AI puzzle generation requests may be processed in regions such as the United States.

* All transmissions are encrypted via HTTPS

* Corp. Exciting does not store or transfer personal data internationally

* Third-party AI providers process data under their own applicable data protection frameworks

11. Privacy Policy Updates

We may update this policy to reflect:

* Legal or regulatory changes

* New features such as additional languages or game modes

* Improvements to AI processing or data handling practices
