Mirror+ is a mobile makeup mirror application developed and operated by Team EXCITING. The app utilizes your smartphone's front camera to provide real-time mirror functionality, LED lighting effects, zoom capabilities, decorative frames, and other beauty assistance features.

1. Nature of the Service

1.1 Provided Features

Mirror+ is a general-purpose beauty mirror utility designed to help users check their appearance anytime, anywhere by providing features such as:

• displaying real-time HD mirror view using the front-facing camera,

• LED lighting effects with three color temperatures (Warm, Cool, Natural),

• zoom functionality (1x to 4x magnification) for detailed makeup application,

• freeze frame capability to examine specific details,

• five decorative frame styles (Classic, Modern, Vintage, Minimal, Luxury),

• brightness adjustment for use in various lighting conditions,

• automatic saving of user preferences (brightness, zoom level, frame selection, LED settings) locally on device.

1.2 What Mirror+ Does NOT Provide

Mirror+ does not:

• provide professional makeup consultation, beauty advice, or cosmetic recommendations,

• guarantee perfect color accuracy or lighting conditions for all makeup application scenarios,

• replace professional makeup mirrors, ring lights, or studio lighting equipment,

• provide skin analysis, blemish detection, or dermatological assessments,

• guarantee identical performance across all device models, camera hardware, or operating system versions,

• store, upload, or share any camera feed or captured images to external servers.

1.3 Important Notice (Utility Tool Only)

Mirror+ is a convenience utility app, not a medical device or professional beauty tool. Camera quality, color accuracy, and lighting effects depend entirely on your device's hardware capabilities. Display calibration, ambient lighting conditions, and screen quality may affect appearance. Nothing in Mirror+ should be treated as a substitute for professional makeup application tools or expert beauty consultation.

2. Camera Permission & Privacy

2.1 Camera Access Requirement

Mirror+ requires access to your device's front-facing camera to function. The app will request camera permission upon first launch. Without camera permission, core mirror functionality cannot operate.

2.2 Camera Data Usage

All camera data is processed locally on your device in real-time. Mirror+ does not:

• record video or capture photos without your explicit action,

• upload camera feed to any external server or cloud service,

• share camera data with third parties,

• use facial recognition, biometric analysis, or AI processing on your image,

• retain camera data after you close the app.

When you use the freeze frame feature, the image is temporarily held in device memory only and is discarded when you unfreeze or close the app.

2.3 No Backend Server

Mirror+ operates entirely as an on-device utility with no backend server infrastructure. All data processing occurs locally on your device.

3. Data Storage & Privacy

3.1 On-Device Data

Mirror+ stores the following information locally on your device using SharedPreferences:

• brightness level preference (0.0 to 1.0),

• zoom level preference (1.0x to 4.0x),

• LED light on/off state,

• selected LED color temperature (warm/cool/natural),

• selected frame style (0-5),

• app language preference (auto-detected from device settings).

This data is used solely to remember your preferred settings between app sessions and is never uploaded to Team EXCITING servers.

3.2 Data Deletion

All locally stored data is permanently deleted when you uninstall Mirror+. You may also clear app data manually through your device's application settings.

3.3 No Personal Information Collection

Mirror+ does not collect, store, or transmit:

• personal identifying information (name, email, phone number),

• location data,

• contact lists,

• device identifiers beyond standard OS-provided analytics (if enabled),

• payment information (the app is free with no in-app purchases).

3.4 Third-Party Services

Mirror+ may include links to third-party destinations such as:

• Privacy Policy webpage,

• developer social channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.),

• app store developer page or app collection.

When you open these links, your device connects directly to third-party services. Those services may collect data under their own terms and privacy policies. Any such collection is outside the control of Team EXCITING. You are responsible for reviewing the terms and policies of any third-party services you choose to access.

3.5 Future Analytics or Crash Reporting

If third-party SDKs for analytics or crash reporting are integrated in future versions, they may collect limited technical data such as:

• device model and manufacturer,

• operating system version,

• app version,

• basic usage metrics (e.g., feature usage frequency, session duration),

• anonymized crash logs.

Any such changes will be described in an updated Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. No personally identifiable information will be collected without explicit user consent.

4. Usage & Safety Notice

4.1 Responsible Use

You agree to use Mirror+ responsibly and lawfully. In particular:

• Do not use the app while driving, operating machinery, or in any situation where phone usage is unsafe or illegal.

• Do not use the app to photograph or record other individuals without their consent.

• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app code.

• Do not use the app for any unlawful surveillance, harassment, or privacy violation.

4.2 Device Compatibility & Performance

Mirror+ performance depends on your device's hardware capabilities:

• Camera quality: Mirror clarity depends on front camera resolution and sensor quality.

• Processing power: Older devices may experience frame rate drops or lag.

• Battery consumption: Continuous camera use and screen-on time will drain battery faster than normal.

• Screen quality: LED lighting effects and color accuracy depend on display calibration and quality.

4.3 Lighting Conditions

Mirror+ LED lighting effects are simulated on-screen overlays, not physical light sources. They cannot replace:

• natural daylight,

• professional ring lights or studio lighting,

• medical examination lighting.

For critical makeup application (e.g., professional events, photo shoots), verify results in appropriate lighting conditions.

4.4 No Medical or Dermatological Claims

Mirror+ is not a medical device. Do not use the app to:

• diagnose skin conditions,

• assess medical symptoms,

• replace dermatological consultation.

If you have concerns about skin health, consult a licensed dermatologist or healthcare professional.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 No Warranties

Mirror+ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Team EXCITING does not guarantee:

• that the app will function identically across all devices, OS versions, or camera hardware,

• that LED lighting effects will produce identical results on all display types,

• that zoom functionality will provide optical-quality magnification on all devices,

• that color accuracy will be sufficient for professional makeup application,

• uninterrupted, error-free, or bug-free operation.

5.2 Disclaimer of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Team EXCITING bears no liability for direct or indirect damages arising from use of Mirror+, including but not limited to:

• unsatisfactory makeup application results,

• device battery drain or performance issues,

• data loss due to app crashes or OS updates,

• dissatisfaction with camera quality, lighting effects, or frame styles,

• accidental app usage while driving or in unsafe conditions,

• any consequences of decisions made based on appearance viewed in the app.

5.3 User Responsibility

Use of Mirror+ is entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for:

• verifying makeup application in appropriate lighting before important events,

• operating your device safely and lawfully,

• maintaining adequate device battery and storage,

• granting and managing app permissions appropriately.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership

Mirror+ and all associated software, designs, graphics, icons, and documentation are the intellectual property of Team EXCITING. All rights reserved.

6.2 License Grant

Team EXCITING grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Mirror+ for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

6.3 Restrictions

You may not:

• copy, modify, or distribute the app or any portion thereof,

• reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app,

• remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices,

• use the app for commercial purposes without written authorization,

• extract app resources (frames, icons, etc.) for use in other applications.

7. Service Changes & Availability

7.1 Updates & Modifications

Team EXCITING reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue Mirror+ at any time. Changes may include:

• adding or removing features,

• updating LED lighting algorithms or frame designs,

• modifying UI/UX layout,

• adding support for new device models or OS versions,

• fixing bugs or improving performance.

7.2 No Guaranteed Availability

We do not guarantee:

• continuous availability of any feature,

• backward compatibility with older OS versions,

• support for all device models indefinitely.

7.3 Notification of Changes

Material changes to features or terms will be communicated through:

• app store update descriptions,

• in-app notifications (if applicable),

• updated Terms of Service version date.

Continued use of Mirror+ after updates constitutes acceptance of changes.

8. Termination

8.1 Termination by User

You may stop using Mirror+ at any time by uninstalling the app from your device.

8.2 Termination by Team EXCITING

Team EXCITING reserves the right to:

• discontinue the app entirely,

• remove the app from distribution platforms,

• block specific device models or OS versions if technical issues arise.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

9.1 Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles.

9.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from or relating to Mirror+ or these Terms shall be resolved through:

1. Good-faith negotiation between the parties,

2. Mediation, if negotiation fails,

3. Binding arbitration under Korean law, if mediation fails.

9.3 Jurisdiction

Users agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Seoul, Republic of Korea for any legal proceedings.

10. Consent & Acceptance

10.1 Agreement to Terms

By installing, accessing, or using Mirror+, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Mirror+ is a convenience utility app, not a professional beauty tool or medical device,

• camera quality, lighting accuracy, and performance depend entirely on your device hardware,

• you are responsible for safe and lawful use of the app,

• Team EXCITING is not liable for any consequences arising from reliance on app-provided mirror functionality.

10.2 Age Requirement

Mirror+ is intended for users aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, you must obtain parental or guardian consent before using the app.

10.3 Rejection of Terms

If you do not agree with these Terms of Service, you must not install or use Mirror+.

Mirror+ is designed to minimize data collection. All preferences are stored locally on your device. Mirror+ does not require an account and operates entirely on-device with no backend server for user data.

2. Data We Collect

Mirror+ is designed to collect as little data as possible and prioritizes user privacy.

A. Data We DO NOT Collect (by Team EXCITING)

Team EXCITING does not collect or store the following on its own servers:

• ❌ Personal information (name, email, phone number, address, etc.)

• ❌ Photos or videos captured by the camera

• ❌ Camera feed recordings — all camera processing is real-time and local

• ❌ Facial recognition data or biometric information

• ❌ Contacts, SMS, or call logs

• ❌ Audio recordings — the app does not record audio

• ❌ Browsing history

• ❌ Precise location data or GPS coordinates

• ❌ Device identifiers such as IMEI or MAC address (collected by Team EXCITING)

• ❌ Usage history or app interaction logs (stored by Team EXCITING)

• ❌ Cloud backups of camera data or preferences

No Server by Default: Mirror+ currently has no Team EXCITING backend server for storing your personal data. All core features run locally on your device. The camera feed is processed in real-time and never leaves your device.
