Terms of Service
Terms of Service
Last Updated: August 12, 2026
Article 1. Purpose and Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Wakee mobile application ("App") provided by Corp. Exciting ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our").
By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not install or use the App.
Article 2. Service Description
Wakee is an alarm and sleep routine application designed to help users wake up through interactive missions.
The App may provide:
• Nap timers with scheduled wake-up alarms
• Repeating bedtime and wake-up alarms
• Suggested bedtimes based on estimated sleep cycles
• Interactive wake-up missions involving calculations, typing, memory, movement, device sensors, QR codes, light, or other activities
• Built-in alarm sounds
• User-selected audio files and voice recordings as custom alarm sounds
• Vibration and gradual alarm volume options
• Wake-up streaks, nap reports, bedtime reports, and other statistics
• Free and premium features
• Advertisements for free users
Sleep cycle suggestions, wake-up statistics, and other information shown in the App are estimates for general lifestyle and entertainment purposes. They are not medical advice, sleep disorder diagnosis, or professional health guidance.
Article 3. Alarm Operation and Important Limitations
Wakee relies on Android alarm functions, notifications, foreground services, full-screen intents, wake locks, and other device capabilities to deliver scheduled alarms.
When an active alarm begins, the App may:
• Turn on or keep the screen awake
• Display the alarm screen over the lock screen or other applications
• Play alarm audio and vibration through a foreground service
• Increase or gradually raise alarm volume according to the selected settings
• Restrict normal dismissal until the selected mission is completed
• Return the alarm screen to the foreground while the alarm remains active
• Use device sensors or the camera when required by the selected mission
These behaviors are used only for alarms intentionally scheduled by the user.
Alarm delivery is not guaranteed under every condition. An alarm may be delayed, silenced, or prevented by circumstances including:
• The device being powered off or out of battery
• The App being force-stopped through system settings
• Exact alarm, notification, full-screen intent, overlay, microphone, camera, activity recognition, or other permissions being denied or revoked
• Battery optimization or background activity restrictions
• Manufacturer-specific power management settings
• Do Not Disturb, silent mode, volume limits, connected audio devices, or system sound policies
• App removal, data deletion, operating system updates, storage errors, or corrupted files
• Hardware or sensor limitations
• Changes to the device time, date, or time zone
• Failures or limitations in Android, Google Play services, or third-party software
You are responsible for checking that the alarm was saved correctly, required permissions are enabled, the device has sufficient battery, and the selected alarm sound is available.
Wakee should not be used as the sole alarm system for emergencies, medical treatment, transportation, examinations, employment obligations, childcare, safety-critical duties, or any event where a missed alarm could cause serious harm or loss.
Article 4. Wake-Up Missions
Wakee may require completion of a selected mission before an active alarm can be dismissed through the App.
Mission behavior may vary depending on difficulty, device hardware, permissions, and environmental conditions.
You acknowledge that:
• Walking and movement missions require a supported motion or step sensor and activity recognition permission
• QR missions require camera permission and a readable registered QR value
• Light missions require a supported light sensor
• Tilt and motion missions require supported motion sensors
• Audio recording requires microphone permission
• Some missions may be unavailable on certain devices
• A fallback mission may be provided if required hardware, permissions, or stored mission data are unavailable
• Sensor measurements and image, light, motion, or step readings may not always be exact
You must configure movement, QR, and sensor-based missions in a safe environment. Do not walk, scan objects, or perform physical missions while driving, operating machinery, using stairs, or in any situation where distraction or movement could be dangerous.
Article 5. Custom Alarm Sounds
Wakee may allow premium users to select an audio file from their device or record a voice memo for use as an alarm sound.
You are solely responsible for audio files and recordings added to the App. You agree that:
• You have the necessary rights or permission to use the selected audio
• You will not use unlawful, infringing, abusive, or privacy-violating recordings
• You will obtain consent before recording or using another person's voice where required by law
• The Developer does not obtain ownership of your custom audio
• Custom audio may stop working if the file is deleted, moved, corrupted, unsupported, or inaccessible
• The App may fall back to a built-in alarm sound if a selected custom sound cannot be played
The Developer does not review or monitor custom audio stored on your device.
Article 6. Premium Subscription
Wakee may offer an optional auto-renewing subscription called Wakee Premium through Google Play.
Benefits may include:
• Creating additional alarms beyond the free-tier limit
• Access to premium wake-up missions
• Custom alarm sounds and voice recordings
• Detailed sleep, nap, and wake-up statistics
• Removal of advertisements
• Other benefits displayed on the purchase screen
The exact subscription price, billing period, trial availability, and included benefits are displayed before purchase.
Billing and Renewal
Subscriptions are processed through Google Play and automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period. Your Google Play account will be charged according to the price and billing period shown during purchase.
Cancellation
You may cancel through your Google Play subscription settings. Deleting Wakee does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Cancellation generally takes effect after the current paid period ends.
Refunds
The Developer does not directly process payments or control Google Play billing transactions. Refund requests must be submitted through Google Play and are governed by Google Play policies and applicable consumer law.
Restoration
You may use the restore purchase function where available. Premium access is activated only after the App receives valid confirmation of an active entitlement from Google Play and the subscription management provider.
Expiration and Payment Failure
If your subscription expires, is canceled, is refunded, or cannot be renewed, premium features may become unavailable. Existing premium alarms or custom settings may be restricted, replaced with supported free-tier settings, or require a new subscription to modify.
Price and Benefit Changes
Subscription prices and benefits may change for future billing periods. Where required, notice will be provided through Google Play or within the App. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Article 7. Advertisements
Free users may see banner, native, interstitial, or app-open advertisements provided through Google AdMob or other advertising partners.
Premium users with an active ad-free entitlement should not receive ordinary in-app advertisements. Temporary verification delays, billing synchronization errors, or third-party service failures may affect entitlement recognition.
The Developer does not control the content of every advertisement. Advertising services may process device identifiers, approximate location, consent status, and usage information according to their own policies and applicable law.
Article 8. Local Data and Privacy
Wakee does not require a user account to use its core alarm features.
The following information may be stored locally on your device:
• Alarm schedules and repeat days
• Selected missions and difficulty
• Registered QR values
• Custom alarm sound information
• Voice recordings or copied audio files
• Nap and bedtime history
• Wake-up streaks and statistics
• Language and general settings
• Locally cached premium status
Removing the App or clearing its data may permanently delete locally stored alarms, custom sounds, history, and settings.
Subscription status is processed by Google Play and Adapty to verify access to premium features. Advertising services such as Google AdMob may process information as described in their respective privacy policies.
The Developer does not intentionally upload your custom voice recordings, selected audio files, alarm history, or mission configuration to a Developer-operated server.
Article 9. Permissions
Wakee may request permissions or special system access including:
• Notifications
• Exact alarms and reminders
• Full-screen intents
• Foreground services
• Wake lock
• Display over other apps
• Activity recognition
• Camera
• Microphone
• Vibration
• Audio settings
• Battery optimization exemption
• Access to user-selected audio files
Permissions are requested only when needed for related features. Some features will not function if permission is denied.
You may change permissions through your device settings, but doing so may prevent scheduled alarms or missions from operating correctly.
Article 10. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
• Use Wakee only for lawful personal purposes
• Verify important alarms independently when necessary
• Keep required permissions and system settings properly configured
• Avoid using physical missions in unsafe environments
• Use only audio content that you are authorized to use
• Avoid recording another person without required consent
• Not reverse engineer, modify, interfere with, exploit, or redistribute the App
• Not attempt to bypass subscription verification or premium restrictions
• Not misuse alarms, sounds, notifications, or full-screen functions to disturb or harm others
• Comply with all applicable laws and Google Play policies
Article 11. Intellectual Property
The App, including its source code, interface, graphics, branding, mission designs, text, and original assets, is owned by or licensed to Corp. Exciting.
You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
These Terms do not grant ownership of the App or permission to copy, sell, redistribute, modify, or commercially exploit it.
Article 12. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wakee is provided "as is" and "as available."
The Developer does not guarantee that:
• Every alarm will activate at the exact scheduled time
• The App will remain uninterrupted or error-free
• Every mission will function on every device
• Sensor readings will be accurate
• Custom audio will always remain available
• Sleep cycle suggestions or statistics will be medically accurate
• Premium verification and advertising services will always be available
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
Article 13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:
• Missed, delayed, or silent alarms
• Oversleeping, lateness, missed appointments, travel, work, or examinations
• Device shutdown, battery loss, or operating system restrictions
• Failure of permissions, sensors, notifications, audio, vibration, or custom files
• Unsafe use of movement or camera-based missions
• Loss of locally stored alarm history, recordings, or settings
• Subscription, payment, refund, or entitlement issues handled by third parties
• Advertising content or third-party services
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Article 14. Third-Party Services
Wakee may use third-party services including:
• Google Play Billing for purchases and subscriptions
• Adapty for subscription entitlement management
• Google AdMob for advertising
• Android system alarm, notification, audio, camera, sensor, and foreground service functions
• Flutter packages and platform SDKs necessary for App features
Use of these services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. The Developer is not responsible for third-party service interruptions, policy changes, or independent data practices.
Article 15. Service Changes and Availability
The Developer may add, modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue App features, missions, premium benefits, pricing, compatibility, or supported platforms.
Changes may be necessary for security, legal compliance, Google Play policy, operating system compatibility, technical maintenance, or product development.
Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated service, subject to rights granted by applicable law.
Article 16. Suspension and Termination
The Developer may restrict or terminate access to the App if a user violates these Terms, misuses the service, interferes with subscription systems, infringes intellectual property, or engages in unlawful activity.
You may stop using Wakee at any time. Removing the App does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
Article 17. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated periodically. The latest version will display a revised "Last Updated" date.
Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, except where additional consent is required by law.
Article 18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in your country of residence.
Disputes shall be submitted to courts with jurisdiction under the laws of the Republic of Korea, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Overview
Wakee ("App") is an alarm and sleep routine application provided by Corp. Exciting ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our").
Wakee allows users to create nap timers and bedtime alarms, select wake-up missions, use custom alarm sounds, and review locally stored wake-up statistics.
Wakee is designed with a local-first approach:
• No Wakee account is required
• Alarm schedules and history are stored locally on your device
• QR registration values remain on your device
• Custom audio files and voice recordings remain on your device
• The Developer does not operate a server that stores your alarm history, recordings, QR values, or mission results
• Limited information may be processed by Google AdMob, Google Play, and Adapty for advertising, purchases, subscription verification, security, and service operation
Information the Developer Does Not Collect
Corp. Exciting does not directly collect or store the following on Developer-operated servers:
• Your name, phone number, home address, or date of birth
• Wakee account credentials, since no Wakee account is required
• Your alarm schedules
• Your nap or bedtime history
• Your wake-up streaks
• Your selected missions or mission difficulty
• Your registered QR values
• Your custom alarm audio files
• Your voice recordings
• Your step count, motion, light, or sensor readings
• Your contacts
• Your precise GPS location
• Your photos or other personal media, except files that you explicitly select for local use within the App
• Your payment card number or bank account information
The Developer does not sell your locally stored Wakee data.

The Developer cannot remotely view, recover, or restore locally stored Wakee data.
Alarm and Mission Data
Alarm schedules, repeat days, selected missions, and mission difficulty are processed locally to schedule and operate alarms.
When an alarm activates, Wakee may locally process:
• The identifier of the active alarm
• The selected mission type
• Mission difficulty
• Mission progress
• Completion status
• Completion time
• Sensor information required by the selected mission
This information is used to operate the alarm and determine whether the selected wake-up mission has been completed.
Wakee does not transmit this mission information to a Developer-operated server.
QR Mission Data
When you configure a QR mission, Wakee uses your device camera to scan a QR code.
Wakee stores the decoded value contained within the registered QR code, not merely an image of the QR code. When the alarm activates, the newly scanned value is compared locally with the registered value.
Camera frames used during scanning are processed on the device and are not intentionally uploaded to the Developer.
You should not register a QR code containing sensitive personal, financial, medical, authentication, or confidential information. QR values are stored locally and may remain until the associated alarm or App data is deleted.
Custom Audio Files and Voice Recordings
Wakee may allow premium users to:
• Select an audio file from their device
• Copy an audio file into the App's private storage
• Record a voice memo for use as an alarm sound
• Preview and delete locally added alarm sounds
Selected audio and voice recordings remain locally on the device. They are not intentionally transmitted to the Developer or used for advertising, profiling, or analytics.
If you record another person's voice, you are responsible for obtaining any consent required by applicable law.
Deleting a custom sound through the App removes its Wakee entry and may remove the corresponding copied file. Deleting Wakee or clearing its App data removes locally stored recordings and copied custom sound files.
Device Permissions and Sensor Access
Wakee may request the following permissions or special system access.
Camera
Used only for QR registration and QR wake-up missions. Camera access occurs when you open a QR scanning feature.
Microphone
Used only when you choose to record a custom alarm sound. Wakee does not continuously record in the background.
Activity Recognition
Used for walking missions to detect step progress. Step information is processed locally and is not intentionally transmitted to the Developer.
Motion Sensors
Accelerometer and motion information may be used for shaking, tilting, maze, rhythm, water, or similar interactive missions. Sensor values are processed locally.
Light Sensor
Ambient light information may be used for a mission that requires moving into a brighter environment. Light readings are processed locally.
Notifications
Used to display scheduled alarm notifications and alarm status information.
Exact Alarms and Reminders
Used to schedule alarms as close as possible to the time selected by the user.
Full-Screen Intent
Used to display the alarm screen when a scheduled alarm activates, including while the device is locked where permitted by Android.
Foreground Service
Used while an alarm is actively ringing so sound and vibration can continue until the mission is completed.
Wake Lock
Used to wake or keep the device active while an alarm is ringing.
Display Over Other Apps
Optional special access that may improve alarm screen reliability on certain Android devices. Wakee requests this only through a user-initiated system settings action.
Audio Settings and Vibration
Used to play alarm audio, apply gradual volume settings, and vibrate during an alarm.
File Selection
Used only when you explicitly choose an audio file. Wakee does not scan or upload unrelated files from your device.
Battery Optimization Exemption
Optional access that may improve alarm reliability on devices with aggressive background restrictions.
You may deny or revoke permissions through your device settings. Features that depend on a denied permission may become unavailable or unreliable.
Subscription and Purchase Data
Wakee offers an optional auto-renewing subscription called Wakee Premium.
Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing and subscription entitlement is managed using Adapty.
Google Play and Adapty may process:
• Product identifier
• Purchase status
• Subscription status
• Purchase and renewal timestamps
• Expiration date
• Cancellation or refund status
• Store transaction identifiers
• Country, currency, and product price information
• Anonymous or pseudonymous App user identifiers
• Device, App, and SDK information needed for purchase verification
• Diagnostic information related to billing or entitlement errors
The Developer does not receive or store your complete payment card number, bank account number, or Google account password.
Subscription information is used to:
• Confirm whether Wakee Premium is active
• Unlock premium missions and additional alarms
• Enable custom alarm sounds and premium reports
• Remove ordinary in-App advertising for active subscribers
• Restore purchases
• Prevent purchase fraud and entitlement abuse
• Diagnose subscription problems
Subscription data is retained by Google Play and Adapty according to their own legal obligations and retention policies.
For more information:
• Google Privacy Policy
• Adapty Privacy Policy
Advertising
Wakee uses Google AdMob to display advertisements to free users. Advertisements may include banner, native, interstitial, or app-open advertisements.
Depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and Google's policies, Google AdMob may process:
• Advertising ID
• IP address
• Device model and device category
• Operating system and App version
• Language
• Approximate location derived from IP address
• Ad impressions, clicks, and interactions
• Diagnostic and performance information
• Consent status
• Information used to prevent fraud and invalid traffic
• App activity associated with advertising and measurement
The Developer may access aggregated advertising reports, such as impressions, estimated earnings, countries, device categories, and ad performance. These reports are not intended to identify individual Wakee users directly.
Wakee may use Google's User Messaging Platform to request consent where required. Your advertising choices may affect whether ads are personalized or non-personalized.
Wakee does not use locally stored alarm times, QR values, voice recordings, custom audio, step counts, or wake-up history to personalize advertisements.
Wakee Premium is intended to prevent ordinary ad requests and ad displays while a valid premium entitlement is recognized. Advertising SDKs may still be initialized during App startup for technical or consent-management purposes.
You can manage Google's advertising personalization through your Android or Google account settings.
For more information, review the Google Privacy Policy.
In-App Reviews
Wakee may use the Google Play in-app review service to request an optional store review.
Review availability, submission, and associated account information are handled by Google Play. The Developer does not receive your Google account password or directly control how Google processes review data.
Support Communications
If you contact Corp. Exciting by email, we may receive:
• Your email address
• The name associated with your email account
• The contents of your message
• Any screenshots, logs, or files you voluntarily attach
• Information necessary to investigate your request
Support communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain service records, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations.
Do not include sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your support request.
How Information Is Used
Information processed through Wakee or its service providers may be used to:
• Operate scheduled alarms and wake-up missions
• Save App preferences locally
• Display local reports and wake-up statistics
• Play user-selected alarm sounds
• Verify and restore premium subscriptions
• Display and measure advertisements for free users
• Request legally required advertising consent
• Diagnose crashes, billing failures, alarm failures, and technical problems
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and invalid advertising activity
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with applicable laws and enforceable legal requests
Data Sharing
Corp. Exciting does not sell your locally stored alarm, mission, audio, QR, or sleep history data.
Information may be processed by:
Google Play
Used for App distribution, purchases, subscriptions, reviews, security, and related platform services.
Google AdMob
Used for advertising, consent, measurement, fraud prevention, and ad performance.
Adapty
Used for subscription verification, purchase restoration, entitlement management, and subscription analytics.
Operating System and Device Services
Android and device manufacturer services may process alarms, notifications, permissions, background execution, camera access, microphone access, sensors, and system diagnostics.

Uninstalling Wakee or clearing its App data removes locally stored Wakee information from the device. It does not automatically cancel an active subscription or delete information independently retained by Google Play, Adapty, or Google.
Data Deletion and User Controls
You may control Wakee data by:
• Deleting individual alarms within the App
• Deleting custom alarm sounds within the App
• Changing App permissions through Android settings
• Clearing Wakee's App storage through device settings
• Uninstalling Wakee to remove locally stored data
• Canceling Wakee Premium through Google Play subscription settings

Because Wakee does not operate user accounts or a Developer database containing your local alarms, the Developer cannot remotely delete or recover locally stored Wakee data for you.
Deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription. Subscription cancellation must be completed through Google Play.
Security
Wakee uses reasonable technical measures appropriate to its local-first design, including:
• Android App sandbox storage
• App-private storage for copied audio and recordings
• Google Play Billing instead of direct payment card processing
• Adapty entitlement verification
• Permission-based access to camera, microphone, files, and activity recognition
• Limited use of device sensors for requested mission functions
No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Device compromise, unauthorized physical access, operating system vulnerabilities, backups, or third-party service incidents may affect information security.
Children's Privacy
Wakee is not directed to children under the age of 13.
The Developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through a Developer-operated account or server.
Parents or guardians who believe that a child has provided personal information through a support communication may contact us at corp.exciting@gmail.com.
Age requirements may differ by country. Users must satisfy the minimum age required by applicable law and Google Play policies.
International Data Processing
Wakee's locally stored alarms, QR values, recordings, custom audio, history, and settings remain on the device unless you independently back up, transfer, or share them.
Google, Adapty, and other platform service providers may process advertising, subscription, diagnostic, or transaction information in countries outside your place of residence. Such processing is governed by their respective privacy policies and applicable data transfer mechanisms.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning personal information processed by the Developer, including rights to:
• Request information about processing
• Request access to available personal information
• Request correction or deletion
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Submit a complaint to an appropriate data protection authority
Most Wakee data is stored only on your device and is not accessible to the Developer. You can exercise control over this local data directly through the App or device settings.
Requests concerning data independently processed by Google Play, Google AdMob, or Adapty may need to be submitted directly to the relevant provider.
No Sale of Personal Information
Corp. Exciting does not sell your locally stored Wakee information.
Third-party advertising services may process information for personalized advertising or measurement depending on your consent choices and regional law. You may manage these choices through the consent interface, Google settings, or My Ad Center.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect:
• New App features
• Changes to permissions or data practices
• Changes to advertising or subscription providers
• Security improvements
• Legal or regulatory requirements
• Google Play policy changes
The revised policy will display a new "Last Updated" date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App, store listing, or another appropriate notice.
