iMic ("iMic", "the App") is a real-time voice effects microphone application. This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed when you use the App, how it is used, and what choices you have.
1. Overview (What the App Does)
iMic provides the following features:
Real-time voice effects Echo, Reverb, Pitch Shift, and Howling
14 built-in voice presets for instant transformation
Live VU meter for real-time audio level visualization
Adjustable master volume and per-effect fine-tuning
Multilingual interface (English, 한국어, 日本語, 中文, Français)
Settings links (Privacy Policy, social channels, developer/app collection, alerts)
All audio processing is performed locally on your device in real time. The App is designed to minimize data collection and does not transmit or store your voice or audio data.
2. Data We Collect / Process
A) Data We Do NOT Collect
iMic does not collect or store personal data on Team EXCITING servers. We do not operate a user account system, and we do not ask for your name, phone number, address, contacts, location, or payment information.
Most importantly: your voice and audio are never recorded, transmitted, or stored. All audio processing happens entirely on your device.
B) Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The App may store the following locally to provide a smoother experience:
App preferences (language, volume settings, basic UI settings)
Basic confirmations (e.g., notices acknowledgement, if implemented)
If you uninstall the App, locally stored data is typically removed with it, depending on OS behavior and backups.
C) External Links (Settings)
The App includes links to third-party destinations such as the Privacy Policy page, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, and the developer's app collection page. When you open these links, your device connects directly to the third-party service, and that service may collect data such as your IP address, device info, or account data if you are logged in. Their policies apply, not ours.
D) Advertising / Analytics SDKs (If Enabled in Your Build)
iMic may have multiple builds or versions. If you use a free, ad-supported build, it may include advertising or analytics SDKs such as Google AdMob. These third parties may process your Advertising ID (AAID / IDFA), basic device info (model, OS version, language/region), and general app usage signals needed for ad delivery and measurement. Team EXCITING does not receive or store raw advertising identifiers on its own servers. Processing is handled by the third-party SDK according to their own policies.
3. How We Use Data
We process data only to store your preferences locally, open external links you choose to tap, and if enabled, deliver and measure ads in ad-supported builds. We do not sell personal data.
4. Permissions & Why They Are Needed
Microphone access is required to enable real-time voice effect processing. This is the core function of the App. Audio captured by the microphone is processed locally and is never transmitted or stored. Internet access may be required to load ads if you are using an ad-supported build. The App does not require access to your contacts, call logs, SMS, photos, or precise location.
5. Data Retention
On-device data such as preferences is retained until you change or reset it, clear app data, or uninstall the App. Third-party ad and analytics data, if enabled, is retained according to the respective third-party provider's policies.
6. Security
iMic relies on platform protections including sandboxed app storage, OS permission controls, and encrypted transport (HTTPS) for any network-based requests. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we follow reasonable security practices.
7. Children's Privacy
iMic is not intended for children under the age where parental consent is required by local law. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us at corp.exciting@gmail.com.
8. Your Rights & Choices
You can change language and app preferences in Settings at any time. You can uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data. You can manage microphone permissions via your device settings at any time. If ads are enabled, you can reset or limit your Advertising ID and ad personalization via your device settings.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy due to feature additions or removals, legal or regulatory updates, or third-party policy changes. The "Last Updated" date will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the App indicates acceptance of the updated policy.

We do not sell personal information. Third-party ad SDKs, if enabled, may process data under their own policies. Users can control ad personalization via device settings.
