Article 1. Purpose

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the mobile application Hush (the "App") provided by Corp. Exciting ("Developer", "we", "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Article 2. Service Description

Hush is a private AI companion app designed for the things you can't say out loud to anyone else — questions you're embarrassed to ask, secrets you're carrying, or thoughts too personal to share.

The App provides:

- AI-powered conversations for emotional support, venting, and private questions

- Full chat history saved locally on your device

- Multilingual support (English, Spanish, Japanese)

- Dark and Light mode

- Customizable settings including language, theme, and data reset

What the App Does NOT Provide:

- Professional medical, legal, financial, or mental health advice

- Cloud storage, backup, or synchronization services

- Social networking, sharing platforms, or messaging services

- Any guarantee of accuracy in AI-generated responses

Article 3. AI Disclaimer

Hush uses AI to generate responses for conversational and informational purposes only.

You acknowledge that:

- AI responses are generated and may not always be accurate or appropriate

- Hush is NOT a substitute for professional advice of any kind

- If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, contact a licensed professional or crisis hotline immediately (e.g., 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the US)

- The Developer is not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content

Article 4. Data Storage & Privacy

1. Local Data Storage

All user data — including conversations, settings, and preferences — is stored locally on your device only. The Developer does not store personal user data on external servers.

2. No Personal Data Collection

The App does not collect, transmit, or process personally identifiable information (PII). The Developer does not have the ability to identify users as individuals.

3. Third-Party SDKs

The App may include third-party SDKs (e.g., advertising networks) that operate under their own privacy policies. These services may collect anonymized, non-identifiable usage data in accordance with applicable law.

4. Data Usage Restrictions

The Developer does NOT:

- Sell or share personal data with third parties

- Use user data for targeted advertising profiling

- Store user conversations or content on external servers

Article 5. Advertising

The App may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks (e.g., Google AdMob).

You acknowledge that:

- Ads are served by third-party providers under their own terms and privacy policies

- The Developer does not control the content of third-party advertisements

- Ad personalization may be subject to your device's advertising settings and applicable privacy laws including GDPR and CCPA

Article 6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and features of the App are the property of Corp. Exciting. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

Article 7. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

- Use the App in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws

- Not use the App to generate, store, or distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing content

- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or exploit the App

Article 8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

- The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied

- The Developer is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the App

- The Developer does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App

Article 9. Service Changes

The Developer may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any features of the App at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated App.

Article 10. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. The updated Terms will be posted within the App. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Article 11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.

2. Data We Collect

Corp. Exciting does NOT collect or store the following on its servers:

❌ Your conversations or chat history

❌ Contacts or device personal files

❌ Exact location data (GPS)

❌ Device identifiers (IMEI, MAC address)

❌ Any usage history on external servers

B. Data Stored Locally (On-Device Only)

Hush stores the following only on your device:

✔ The Developer does NOT read, access, or transmit your chats to any server

✔ All conversation data remains fully under your control

✔ You can delete all data at any time within the app settings

4. Advertising

Hush may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks (e.g., Google AdMob).

- Ads are served by third-party providers under their own terms and privacy policies

- The Developer does not control the content of third-party advertisements

- Ad personalization may be subject to your device's advertising settings

- Users in applicable regions (EU, California) may have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA

- To opt out of personalized ads, adjust your device's advertising settings

5. Third-Party Services

Hush may rely on:

- Advertising platforms (e.g., Google AdMob)

- AI inference services for generating responses

- Crash reporting or analytics SDKs (anonymized, non-identifiable)

These services operate under their own privacy policies. The Developer is not responsible for their data practices.

✔ Delete all data → use the "Delete All Data" option in Settings, or uninstall the app

9. Children's Privacy

Hush is intended for users aged 13 and above.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us immediately.

10. International Data Processing

- Corp. Exciting does not store or transfer your personal data internationally

- All third-party data handling is subject to their respective privacy policies
