Article 1. Purpose and Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Romantica – AI Romance Novel Writer (the "App"), provided by Corp. Exciting ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, purchasing a subscription through, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App or purchase a subscription.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer right or remedy available under applicable law.

Article 2. Eligibility and Age Restriction

The App is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 18 and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms.

The App may generate fictional romantic content and mature romantic themes depending on the settings selected by the user. Availability of particular content may be restricted by applicable law, app-store requirements, safety controls, or third-party AI-provider policies.

Article 3. Service Description

Romantica is an AI-assisted creative-writing tool designed to help users create fictional romance stories from selected characters, genres, settings, personality traits, and romance-intensity preferences.

Depending on the current App version and the user's access level, the App may provide:

• AI-generated romance-story chapters;

• tools to continue, rewrite, edit, and save chapters;

• genre, setting, character, personality, and romance-intensity customization;

• a personal story library generally stored on the user's device; and

• free or paid features as described in the App at the time of use or purchase.

The App does not:

• operate as a dating, matchmaking, messaging, or social-networking service;

• provide psychological, emotional, medical, legal, financial, or relationship counseling;

• guarantee publication, commercial success, copyright protection, originality, or any particular story outcome; or

• represent that AI-generated content is written or reviewed by a human author.

Article 4. AI-Generated Content and Service Limitations

The App uses artificial-intelligence technology supplied through external processing infrastructure. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain mistakes, contradictions, repetition, bias, anachronisms, or unexpected material;

• generated content may not follow every instruction and may vary even when identical settings are used;

• outputs may be similar or identical to content generated for other users;

• the Developer does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, originality, legality, quality, or suitability of any output;

• generation may fail, be delayed, or be temporarily unavailable because of connectivity, demand, maintenance, safety systems, or third-party service limitations; and

• you must review and edit generated content before publishing, distributing, relying on, or commercially using it.

Generated stories are fictional and provided for creative and entertainment purposes only. References resembling real persons, organizations, brands, locations, or events may be coincidental or generated without verification.

Article 5. User Inputs and Prohibited Uses

You are responsible for all prompts, names, settings, text, and other material you submit to the App ("User Inputs") and for your use of generated content.

You must not use the App to create, request, store, or distribute content that:

• violates any applicable law or the rights of another person;

• sexually exploits or depicts minors, or sexualizes any person under 18;

• depicts or promotes non-consensual sexual activity, sexual exploitation, trafficking, or abuse;

• creates sexual or defamatory content involving an identifiable real person without a lawful basis;

• contains unlawful threats, harassment, hate, fraud, malware, or instructions for serious wrongdoing;

• infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other third-party rights;

• includes personal, confidential, financial, health, or identifying information that you do not have the right to submit; or

• attempts to bypass safety controls, disrupt the App, extract protected system instructions, reverse engineer the service, or gain unauthorized access.

We may block a request, withhold an output, restrict functionality, or suspend access where reasonably necessary to comply with law, app-store policies, safety obligations, third-party requirements, or these Terms.

Users may report problematic AI-generated content through any reporting or support method made available within the App or by contacting us at the email address below.

Article 6. Local Storage, AI Processing, and Privacy

6.1 Local Story Storage

The App does not currently provide an account-based cloud story library. Saved stories, character settings, and writing preferences are generally stored locally on the user's device. Device backups controlled by the operating system or app store may operate separately from the App.

Deleting the App, clearing App data, losing or replacing the device, or disabling a device backup may permanently delete locally stored stories. You are responsible for maintaining any copies or backups you require.

6.2 AI Processing

To generate or rewrite story content, the App may transmit User Inputs, selected story settings, and relevant portions or summaries of existing chapters through Developer-controlled infrastructure to third-party AI or processing providers. This content is transmitted for the purpose of providing the requested feature.

Although we do not require you to attach your name or email address to story requests, technical information such as IP address, request timing, App version, device or network information, and security logs may be processed as reasonably necessary to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service. Do not submit sensitive personal information in story prompts.

6.3 Purchases, Advertising, and Technical Services

App stores, subscription-management providers, advertising providers, crash-reporting services, or similar technical services may process pseudonymous identifiers, purchase tokens, subscription status, device information, advertising identifiers, diagnostics, and related technical data according to their own terms and privacy policies.

Our handling of data is further described in the App's Privacy Policy. If these Terms and the Privacy Policy address the same privacy matter differently, the Privacy Policy controls for that matter.

Article 7. Advertising

The free version of the App may display advertising supplied by third-party advertising services. An active Writer Pro subscription removes advertising displayed by the App while the subscription entitlement remains active. This does not prevent the operating system, app store, linked websites, or third-party services outside the App from displaying their own content or promotions.

Article 8. Writer Pro Subscription

8.1 Subscription Benefits

Writer Pro is a paid, auto-renewing subscription. While the subscription is active, it provides the benefits accurately displayed on the purchase screen at the time of purchase. These benefits may include:

• removal of advertising displayed by the App;

• removal of the App's numerical daily chapter-generation limit;

• removal or expansion of the App's saved-story limit;

• access to eligible AI rewrite tools;

• access to custom story inputs and additional romance-intensity settings; and

• other Writer Pro features specifically identified in the App.

"No daily App limit," "unlimited stories," or similar wording means that the App does not impose the corresponding numerical limit on an active subscriber. It does not guarantee uninterrupted, infinite, simultaneous, or always-available AI generation. Requests may still be affected by network conditions, safety restrictions, maintenance, abusive or automated use, third-party capacity, technical failures, and reasonable measures necessary to protect the service.

Writer Pro does not provide professional counseling, human writing services, guaranteed output quality, priority access unless expressly stated, or ownership of any AI model.

8.2 Price and Billing Period

The current price, currency, taxes where applicable, billing period, and subscription terms are displayed on the App's purchase screen and in the applicable app-store confirmation interface before purchase. Those displayed purchase terms control over any outdated example, advertisement, screenshot, or prior price.

Unless the purchase screen expressly states otherwise, Writer Pro is billed monthly. No free trial or promotional period is included unless it is clearly displayed before the user confirms the purchase.

8.3 Automatic Renewal

Writer Pro automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date shown by the applicable app store. The user's Apple App Store or Google Play account, as applicable, will be charged according to the terms confirmed at purchase.

The app store may notify users of price changes and may require consent where applicable. If a required payment cannot be completed, Writer Pro access may expire, pause, enter a billing grace period, or be revoked according to app-store rules.

8.4 Cancellation

Users may cancel Writer Pro through the subscription settings of the app-store account used to purchase it. Cancellation prevents future renewal but normally does not immediately end access for a period already paid for. Access generally continues until the end of the current billing period unless a refund, chargeback, revocation, legal requirement, or app-store rule provides otherwise.

Deleting or uninstalling the App does not cancel a subscription. Users must cancel through Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings, as applicable.

8.5 Refunds

Purchases and subscription billing are processed by the applicable app store. Refund eligibility and processing are governed by the app store's refund policy and applicable law. Except where required by law, canceling a subscription does not create a right to a prorated refund for the remaining billing period.

8.6 Restoring Purchases

The App may provide a "Restore Purchase" function. Restoration generally requires the same app-store account and platform used for the original purchase. A subscription cannot be restored if it has expired, been refunded, revoked, charged back, or cannot be verified by the applicable store or subscription-management service.

Article 9. Fair Use and Service Protection

Writer Pro removes specified in-App numerical limits but does not authorize automated extraction, resale of access, account or entitlement manipulation, excessive scripted requests, denial-of-service activity, or use that materially harms service availability for others.

We may apply temporary technical protections or request-rate controls when reasonably necessary for security, safety, fraud prevention, system stability, or compliance. Such protections will not be represented as additional paid professional services.

Article 10. Intellectual Property and Generated Stories

The App's software, interface, branding, artwork, original documentation, and other Developer-created materials are owned by or licensed to Corp. Exciting and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the App in accordance with these Terms.

You retain any rights you already hold in your User Inputs. As between you and the Developer, the Developer does not claim ownership of the story text generated for you by the App. To the extent the Developer may acquire any rights in a specific generated output, the Developer grants you permission to use, edit, reproduce, and distribute that output, including commercially, subject to applicable law, third-party rights, and these Terms.

However:

• AI-generated material may not qualify for copyright protection in some jurisdictions;

• outputs may not be unique and may resemble material generated for others;

• the Developer does not provide copyright registration, clearance, or legal advice;

• you are responsible for reviewing names, brands, quotations, characters, and other material before publication or commercial use; and

• no right is granted to use the Developer's trademarks, App branding, or other protected App assets outside normal use of the App.

Article 11. User Responsibility

You agree to:

• use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms;

• review generated content before using or sharing it;

• obtain any permissions necessary for material included in your User Inputs or final work;

• protect your device and app-store account against unauthorized use;

• maintain backups of locally stored stories important to you; and

• promptly report suspected purchase errors, security issues, or unlawful content.

You are solely responsible for decisions to publish, sell, distribute, or otherwise use generated content.

Article 12. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on or link to third-party services, including:

• AI model and inference providers;

• cloud and network infrastructure;

• Apple App Store and Google Play billing services;

• subscription-entitlement management services;

• advertising services;

• analytics, diagnostics, and crash-reporting services; and

• external websites opened from the App.

Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services to the extent permitted by law, but this provision does not excuse us from responsibilities that cannot legally be transferred or excluded.

Article 13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App and all generated content are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.

We do not warrant that:

• every request will be completed or preserved;

• generated content will meet a user's expectations;

• the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or compatible with every device; or

• locally stored data will never be lost or corrupted.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.

Article 14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Corp. Exciting and its personnel, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, stories, revenue, profits, goodwill, business opportunity, or device functionality arising from or related to the App or generated content.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability arising from the App will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid for the App or Writer Pro during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or (b) USD $10. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability resulting from fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence where non-waivable, or other liability protected by mandatory law.

Article 15. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. Stopping use or deleting the App does not itself cancel an active subscription.

We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary because of a material breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, payment revocation, security threats, abuse, app-store requirements, or risks to users or the service. Subscription billing and refund consequences remain subject to applicable app-store rules and mandatory law.

Article 16. Service and Feature Changes

We may update AI models, prompts, interfaces, free-use limits, supported features, or technical infrastructure, or may suspend or discontinue parts of the App. We will not intentionally misrepresent the material benefits currently offered by an active paid subscription. Where required by law or app-store rules, we will provide notice of material changes affecting paid access.

Article 17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the App, subscriptions, law, safety practices, or third-party requirements. The updated Terms will state a revised effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent.

Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree to an update, you must stop using the App and separately cancel any active subscription through the applicable app store.

Article 18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. However, this choice of law does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections available under the law of their place of residence.

Any dispute will be submitted to a court having jurisdiction under applicable law. Before filing a claim, users are encouraged to contact us so that we may attempt to resolve the matter informally.

Article 19. General Provisions

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect, and the affected provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the purchase terms displayed by the applicable app store, constitute the agreement between you and the Developer concerning use of the App.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Corp. Exciting ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with Romantica – AI Romance Novel Writer ("Romantica" or the "App").

Romantica is designed to minimize the personal information requested directly from users:

• no Romantica account is required;

• we do not ask for a name, email address, phone number, or precise location to generate stories;

• saved stories and story settings are generally stored locally on the user's device; and

• story generation requires the transmission of selected settings and relevant story text to external infrastructure and an AI inference provider.

Although we do not require direct identity information, technical data such as IP address, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, purchase history, subscription status, diagnostics, and request metadata may be processed by us or our service providers as described below. Accordingly, story requests should be treated as pseudonymous rather than fully anonymous.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to information processed through the App, its AI-generation requests, advertising, subscription verification, and related support communications.

It does not control the independent practices of Apple, Google, linked websites, or other third-party services. Those services process information under their own privacy policies.

3. Information We Do Not Request Directly

Romantica does not require users to provide the following to create or save a story:

• name, email address, or phone number;

• contacts or address book;

• photos, videos, microphone recordings, or personal device files;

• precise GPS location;

• social-media credentials or private messages;

• government identification numbers; or

• payment-card numbers.

Payment information is handled by the applicable app store. We do not receive or store full credit- or debit-card details.

If a user voluntarily includes personal information in a story prompt, character name, support email, or other submitted text, that information will be processed as part of that submission. Users should not include sensitive personal, confidential, health, financial, or identifying information in story prompts.

4. Information Stored Locally on the Device

The App may store the following in operating-system-protected App storage, including storage mechanisms such as SharedPreferences:

Remember user choices

Romantica does not currently provide a Developer-operated account-based cloud story library. The Developer does not have routine access to locally stored story libraries.

Local storage is not intended for highly sensitive information. Clearing App data or deleting individual stories may remove local data. Uninstalling the App generally removes its local storage, but operating-system, device-transfer, or app-store backup services may retain or restore copies according to the user's backup settings. Users are responsible for maintaining any backup they require.

5. AI Story Generation and Rewrite Processing

5.1 Information Sent for AI Processing

When a user requests a chapter, continuation, title, or rewrite, the App may transmit:

• selected genre, setting, character, personality, and romance-intensity settings;

• the user's current instruction or selected text;

• relevant excerpts or summaries from existing chapters;

• technical request metadata, such as request time, App version, IP address, and network information; and

• authentication or security tokens used to verify that the request originated from the App.

5.2 Processing Flow

AI requests are transmitted using HTTPS through a Cloudflare Worker or comparable Developer-controlled relay and then sent to the AI inference provider used by the App. Generated text is returned to the device and may be saved locally if the user chooses to keep the story.

The relay is designed not to write story prompts or generated chapters to a Developer-operated story database. We also do not intentionally print story content or User Inputs to our application logs. However, Cloudflare, the AI provider, network operators, and security services may process request content or technical metadata under their own policies and retention practices.

5.3 AI Provider Retention and Training

We do not use users' story prompts or generated chapters to train our own AI model. The current inference provider states that prompts and responses are retained only as described in its data-privacy documentation. Provider practices can change, and any replacement provider may apply its own security, retention, and lawful-access requirements.

We will update this Policy when a material change to AI processing requires additional disclosure. Users should not submit text that they cannot lawfully or safely provide to an external processor.

6. Advertising Data

The free version of Romantica may display ads through Google AdMob and related consent-management services. Depending on platform settings, region, consent, and ad type, the advertising SDK may process:

• IP address;

• device model, operating system, language, and general technical information;

• advertising ID, App Set ID, IDFV, or similar device or app identifiers;

• advertising and App interaction data;

• approximate location inferred from IP address;

• diagnostics, crash data, and performance data; and

• consent choices and ad-delivery information.

Advertising data may be used to deliver, measure, limit, personalize, secure, and improve ads, subject to the user's consent choices and applicable law. Non-personalized or limited ads may still require processing of technical information such as IP address for ad delivery, fraud prevention, frequency control, or legal compliance.

An active Writer Pro subscription removes ads displayed by Romantica while the subscription entitlement remains active. Advertising SDK processing may cease or be reduced when ads are not requested, but historical data previously processed by an advertising provider remains subject to that provider's retention policy.

We do not sell users' story text. We also do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. In some jurisdictions, allowing an advertising provider to process identifiers for personalized or cross-context behavioral advertising may legally be considered a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising. Where required, the App or applicable platform will provide consent or privacy choices. Users may also adjust advertising and privacy settings through their device, Google, Apple, or the consent interface made available in the App.

7. Subscription and Purchase Data

Romantica uses Apple App Store or Google Play, as applicable, to process purchases and may use Adapty to display paywalls, retrieve products, verify purchases, restore access, and determine whether Writer Pro is active.

These services may process:

• purchase history and product identifier;

• transaction, receipt, or purchase token;

• subscription status, renewal, expiration, refund, and cancellation information;

• app-store country, currency, and localized price;

• pseudonymous App-user or profile identifier;

• device or installation identifier; and

• App version, platform, and related technical information.

We use this information to complete purchases, prevent fraud, restore entitlements, provide paid features, troubleshoot billing, and meet accounting or legal obligations. We do not receive full payment-card details from Apple or Google.

Deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription. Subscription management and cancellation are handled through the applicable app-store account.

8. Technical, Security, and Support Data

We or our infrastructure providers may process limited technical information reasonably necessary to operate and protect the App, including:

• IP address and request timestamp;

• HTTP headers, response status, and routing information;

• App version, operating system, and device type;

• security events, authentication failures, rate-limit events, and error information; and

• information included by the user in a support or content-report email.

We use this information for request routing, abuse prevention, debugging, service reliability, security, fraud prevention, and responding to support inquiries. If a user contacts us by email, we receive the email address and any information voluntarily included in that message.

9. Purposes and Legal Bases

Where applicable privacy law requires a legal basis, we process information on one or more of the following grounds:

• Performance of a contract: providing requested AI features, saving App preferences, verifying subscriptions, and restoring purchases;

• Consent: personalized advertising or other processing where consent is required;

• Legitimate interests: securing the App, preventing abuse and fraud, maintaining reliability, diagnosing errors, and providing contextual advertising where permitted;

• Legal obligations: tax, accounting, consumer protection, lawful requests, and regulatory compliance; and

• Protection of rights and safety: investigating misuse, enforcing applicable terms, and protecting users, the Developer, and service providers.

Users may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed and may change the availability or type of advertising shown.

Service providers may update their systems and privacy practices. Their processing is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, as well as contractual or legal restrictions applicable to them.

11. Data Retention

Retention depends on the type of information and who controls it:

We apply data minimization and do not intentionally retain story content longer than necessary for the requested generation on Developer-operated infrastructure.

12. International Data Transfers

The Developer is based in the Republic of Korea. AI, advertising, subscription, app-store, and infrastructure providers may process information in the United States, Korea, the European Economic Area, or other countries where they or their subprocessors operate.

These countries may have privacy laws different from those in the user's location. Where required, providers or the Developer rely on recognized transfer mechanisms or other lawful safeguards. By using an online AI feature, users understand that the request must be transmitted to the infrastructure required to perform it.

13. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the App's architecture, including:

• HTTPS encryption for network transmissions;

• operating-system-protected App storage;

• request authentication and server-side validation controls;

• request-size limits, timeouts, and service-protection controls;

• no Developer-operated account database for story libraries; and

• avoidance of intentional story-content logging in production application code.

No method of transmission, device storage, or third-party processing is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security or recovery of locally stored stories.

14. User Choices and Privacy Rights

Users can:

• delete individual stories using the App's delete function;

• clear App data or uninstall the App to remove local App storage, subject to platform backups;

• stop using AI features to prevent new AI requests;

• avoid including personal or sensitive information in prompts;

• manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple App Store or Google Play;

• adjust advertising choices through available consent interfaces and device, Google, or Apple privacy settings; and

• contact us regarding privacy questions or requests.

Depending on the user's jurisdiction and subject to legal exceptions, users may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection; withdraw consent; or lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.

Because Romantica does not require an account and generally does not receive a user's name or email address, we may be unable to identify or retrieve pseudonymous data without sufficient information. We may request reasonable verification before acting on a privacy request. We cannot directly delete information controlled independently by an app store or another provider; users may need to submit a request to that provider.

15. Children's Privacy

Romantica is intended for adults aged 18 or older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from anyone under 18.

Users must not submit content that sexually depicts, exploits, or endangers a minor. If we learn that information from a minor has been submitted in violation of this Policy, we will take reasonable steps consistent with applicable law and the technical information available to us.

16. Required Disclosures and App-Store Information

The App's Google Play Data Safety form, Apple App Privacy disclosures, consent flow, and this Policy should be read together. The categories declared in the stores must accurately reflect the versions of Google Mobile Ads, Adapty, and other SDKs actually included in the released App.

If App functionality or SDK behavior changes, store disclosures and this Policy may also need to be updated.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in App features, subscriptions, providers, law, or data practices. The revised Policy will display a new effective date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.

Continued use of the App after an updated Policy becomes effective means that the updated Policy applies to subsequent use, except where applicable law requires another form of agreement.

18. Contact
