Scratchboard

This is my Scratchboard of my sister at her graduation in 2016. I used a few different tools and some India ink to touch some things up. This was my first Idea so nothing really changed. I did have some problems at first and didn't really pay attention to the shadows on the 2016 sign but Ms. Medsker helped me recover. My sister graduated from Northeastern University and thats the school I want to go to which is why this photo is important to me. She's a big part of my life so I wanted to make a art project based on her. If I were to revise, I would pay more attention to values so I wouldn't have had to touch up with India Ink. I wasn't too proud with my outcome because of that reason and If I could restart, I would definitely pay more attention to values so I was satisfied with my work.
