Gelatin Prints

My setting is a under the sea, with some sea creatures. I used colored pencils and then the blue ink from the gelatin print. I decided to make a ocean themed drawing because I thought it would look super pretty with the colored creatures. There aren't really any composition rules or technique in my drawing. One thing I did change was the creatures. I was going to have all mermaids with different colored tails but then I drew a dolphin and I love koi fish so I drew one and the whole thing just escalated. There wasn't a story when I was making this drawing but in class, Eli pointed out that there was a movie called ocean 8 and thought that my drawing was based off of that which is wasn't but now I guess it is. This piece relates to my life because it has some sea creatures that I like. I don't think I would change anything in my drawing, I'm really happy with how it turned out. All the colors are nice and bright and the whole thing looks well incorporated.
