Digibox Settings

Introduction

Here are some digibox (set-top box, DVR, PVR, antenna, cable, SD, HD) settings for me, so for example in the case I need to reset a digibox I can look at my notes to make it faster to apply the settings again. See also: Digiboxes, Programs, Operating Systems, Computers.

Notes

Description: digibox (set-top box).

Comment: when updating channels first use the "Reset Service List" to remove duplicate and other unnecessary channel settings.

Comment: "Reset Service List" may cause problems (MTV3 signal was lost many times a day in May 2012), so simply reset to factory settings.

Comment: after reseting digibox, unplug the power cord for a few seconds to really reset the digibox.

Setting: 154 MHz, SR 4000, 64 QAM.

Setting: 162 MHz, SR 4000, 64 QAM.

Setting: 170 MHz, SR 4000, 64 QAM.

Setting: 130 MHz, SR 6875, 64 QAM.

Setting: 138 MHz, SR 6110, 64 QAM.

Use in cable mode.

Problems

Remote control

The shooting angle is very small.

You need to press the remote control buttons very hard.

Menus

If you want to see the program information for a file, the "Info" button doesn't do anything. You need to press the "Option" button and then "More info" (8/2013).
