Introduction

Here are some microphones and other devices with a microphone I have used. See also: Headphones, Sound Mixers, Cameras, Audio/Sound Application Settings.

Apple Earphones with Remote and Mic

- can be used as a microphone with Mac Pro 8-Core's front-panel headphone minijack

- with Yamaha MG102c sound mixer put into "Phones" input (6.5 mm jack) when used simply as a headphone

Sony F-V9

- for microphone jack

- handheld microphone

- no batteries needed

- on/off switch

- unidirectional (one direction)

- dynamic microphone

- impedance 600 Ω

- doesn't work with Mac Pro 8-Core's front-panel headphone minijack

Rock Band microphone

- for USB input

- works for example with Mac Pro 8-Core

- came with Rock Band for Xbox 360
