Magic and Abilities
These people are very powerful psions who are rumored to have great control over themselves and the objects and surroundings around them. Most of their abilities are manifested as telekinesis, but there are a few siaos who practice hard and work on telepathy and other similar fields.
The stone in their forehead works as a stabilizer for their psionic powers. If a kit is born without a stone, it is a siaos tradition to kill it as quickly and cleanly as possible to spare it from the fate of being torn apart by its own powers. This is a very rare occurrence, but it is viewed as a family tragedy and is rarely talked about outside of the family.
Culture
The siaos tend to live together in small communities in the wild, helping maintain a good quality of life for everyone in their group. It's rare for these groups to get larger than twenty at a time, but, that doesn't stop the siaos from spending time with other groups or having larger gatherings.
They do not have a god they lean towards as a group, but, it is said that Space blessed the entire species to always land on their feet.

Biology
The gem is a universal constant for the siaos. Kits are born with either a stone or metal on their forehead and, as they mature, learn to better control their powers with help from this physical attribute.
Siaos grow to be, on average, 4' in height when standing upright, but the species itself has a number of different breeds that differ in body type and overall size.
The siaos are typically bipedal, though they are capable of traveling on all fours. They can be sleek or fluffy, spotted or plain. They are a very diverse species insofar as cats go. Their tails start as a single tail at birth, but, as they age and learn more about their powers, their tails split in two.
