Nature
The Dream Master is a surprisingly enigmatic force, rarely showing up anywhere, but the few sightings there have been have shown a rather downtrodden monotone and monochromatic entity. Altogether a bit odd considering the bright and colorful dreamworld they tends to surround themselves with. If seen they will generally look like the same species as those who are seeing them.
Just about.
Origins
The Dream Master was said to start out as an ordinary creature, who was a part of the "Deep Dream Island" an old epidemic that was said to plunge a good portion of the sentient population into an eternal sleep plagued by nightmares run rampant. The Dreamer stood up against the great beasts, fought back, and broke their hold on the dream realm. releasing the hold it had over everyone. No one is sure what transpired in the dreamer's journey, or what became of them after, as it was all a collective dream they had. As of now the entire epidemic has faded from memories of just about everyone.
