Mamar

Mamar are humans that have traits reminiscent of land based People. Most of them have simple traits that separate them from the rone, such as ears like a yutu or siaos. While they have noticeable visual similarities to their ancient ancestors, it is not common for the mamar to have any magic. The lineage with the People is too far back for any innate powers to carry over, and humans have lost the knowledge of how to practice magic without guidance.

Still, there are a few cases where mamar have used magic. Most of these exceptions are mamar with much more recent monster heritage, or mamar who grew up in Kimadam, where magic is common for everyone on the island.
