Laurenti, or dragon kin, are humans with dragon blood. Because dragons are nearly extinct themselves and because they were less populous than other species in the first place, there are not as many Laurenti as other kinds of humans.
Laurenti are normally able to manage flight, as they have wings on their backs. They are larger, stronger, and tougher than the average human, and have an element that they have an affinity for, similar to elementalists but not quite as powerful.
